RACISTS! Even against a VET! If I could give negative stars, I would. I don`t know what kind of Mickey Mouse operation they are running over there but both the salesman AND the GENERAL MANAGER made racial comments against me. I had bought a used car from them Saturday night, and upon further inspection at my house, the bumpers have been repainted and possible replaced before (did not show up on CARFAX). S... view moreo I wanted to return the car because they had a 5 days, 250 miles money back guaranteed. So I went ahead and called up that sales rep thinking it was no big deal because it was honored in their rule book. The sales rep (Dave Britton) kept hammering me what the "main reason" I wanted to return the car. I told him I don`t want to have to deal with it (the bumpers and other unseen misfortunes) down the road. And I honestly told him that "It`s an Asian thing. We don`t want to spend money just to settle on something." His reply: "That`s why I don`t like dealing with them. Click." - hung up on me. This was the same salesman that thanked me for my service in the Marines the night I had purchased the vehicle. So I proceeded to calling the GM (Kevin Swan(?)). To my surprise, he laughed and taunted me. Kevin said "Why did you buy a used car then? I`m too poor to afford a new car (Mockingly). I guess Asians don`t like things painted." Then he started laughing and not even letting me get a word in. Wow...wow... I have no words. I left the owner a message. Let`s see how this turns out. Just stay away from this place...

Worst service department I ever experienced. Called service department about 10 minutes away and asked if there would be a wait for oil change and light bulb replacement. They said come on by and I`ll get in and out. I pull in the service door, said I just called about the oil change and the guys says OK. Tries selling me a service inspection for my brand new 8k miles car. I said no, he continues to check me in the c... view moreomputer and then after 10 minutes says it is going to be 1.5 hours because they are packed. WTF? I can`t believe that this dealership is not honest with people on the phone. I wasted my time going to planet and to top things off, THE SERVICE CONSULTANT DID NOT EVEN SAY SORRY!

The people in the service department
The people in the service department seemed very nice, don`t let that fool you. They charge $110 for a diagnostic test. You can buy the actual diagnostic tool for $30 on amazon and you can have a diagnostic check done for free at many auto supply stores. Nobody will dare mention the price of the check while you are there, probably because any reasonable person would be upset with them. They offered to repair a tr... view moreansmission shifter problem for 25% more than when I took it to a repair shop nearby. I love my Honda Accord, I loathe Planet Honda.

$17,000 LEMON
Planet Honda sold my daughter a used 2007 Honda Accord with 33k miles. It has had 3 major issues and engine blew at 66k. First issue was damaged wheel rims discovered when she bought new tires. Also rear end was out of alignment. Second was a documented quality issue which Honda has repaired free of charge where spark plug comes loose, stripping threads and damaging coil pack. Local Honda Dealer dropped spark plug ti... view morep in upper cylinder, damaging engine, which threw a connecting rod bearing at 66k. Car now needs new engine. Planet Honda and local dealer have been unwilling to help. My daughter still owes $8000 on this car, a lemon.

Do NOT buy a Hyundai
Do not buy a Hyundai and do not buy from these people. In 2007, I bought a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe from them. Since then, I have spent at least $5000 in repairs on this piece of junk, by far the worse car I have ever owned.

I`ve had the gas pump replaced - twice. Last week, the radiator went out - $900. The really fun one last summer was the transaxel cracking and breaking at 70MPH on the interstate, leaving me ... view morestranded in another state for several days, renting a car, driving back to Denver, and flying back two weeks later to drive cross-country again. Almost $2000 for the repair plus the cost of transportation.

I have called and emailed. No response. These cars are garbage, they don`t care about their customers, and next time I am buying an American car made by American workers.

They should be ashamed of themselves.

Catastrophic FAILURE!
I was not pleased with my purchase of a used 2004 Hyun-die Elantra GT. We didn`t even have the car for a year! A month after the warranty was up the engine had a catastrophic failure. Planet Hyundai refused to help at all even though it was only a few miles over the 100,000 mile warranty we purchased directly from them, stating ""that would be like admitting guilt"". The official problem was with the thrust bearing a... view morend coolant head gasket which required a full engine install. Apparently this is a common problem. Be extremely cautious purchasing from Planet Hyundai.

So glad I bought a car from Planet Hyundai
Two years ago I was in the market for a used car. I spent about three months researching which car would be the best for me and finally had a list of cars that I wanted to look at. When I started looking at ads, most of them seemed so stereotypically misleading. I was impressed that the ones for Planet Hyundai pointed out that most people would not qualify for the discounts that the majority of dealerships were adve... view morertising just to get people into their locations. I liked that they seemed straightforward and honest. I didn`t end up buying my car from Planet Hyundai at that time (found what I wanted at Suss on Havana--also a very good experience) but did visit them for a duplicate key and help with a couple of minor repairs. They charged me for the key but did the other things for free, and were very nice.

This week my daughter`s car broke down and we needed to replace it quickly. I went back to my previous research and decided to look for another Hyundai. I was happy to find one that seemed like it would work well at Planet Hyundai. I called them and they had it ready for me. The price was good (probably not the least expensive in the whole area, but after buying it, I didn`t find more than a few that cost less, and not at dealers that I would be comfortable with), the atmosphere was calm and efficient, and there was just a good ""vibe"" to the whole thing. The two men I dealt with, Dean and Jason, had been working there for 10 and 15 years. Amazing!

I already had credit union financing in place and there was no pressure to finance through them. It was all friendly, businesslike and as quick as anyone could hope for.

The thing that helped me most when I was just burned out from having to do this in a hurry was that they actually delivered the car to my daughter`s workplace--in Aurora! From Golden! Although I don`t know that this could happen every time, I am so grateful for totally going over and above for us.

I`m a big fan of Planet Hyundai!

Be Aware Odyssey owner who has maintenance service
I purchased 2007 Honda Odyssey touring 4 years ago. I had all of maintenance service in Honda Planet for 4 years. Odyssey will notice me ""Car Need Maintenance"" each 3000 or 5000 mile on Car Display. So I bring my car and tell service people what mile I have and they check and maintenance and they reset sign. I don`t know what specific service they provide, but I believe it is for safe and avoid future major accid... view moreent or broken of my car. I took my car on May 2nd(monday) for 30000 mile maintenance. and Tail Gate was fallen to my head on May 9th. (Friday). this was second time for 4 years. Tail Gate of Odyssey was so heavy, I was scared if my kids were there. I called Tom Pacheco, Service Manager on Monday morning. He said ""I`m not mind reader, you have to tell me where is broken and where is almost broken."" ""If you open once a day for tailgate, you open too much. open 365 times a year."" ""if you want to have such a service, go to BMW, or Rolls-Royce?ˆ? (it means checking support bar of tail gate has oil leaking and almost fallen down condition? just open and see for 30 second?). I asked other service people how to find out tail gate is almost fallen down, he show me oil leaking mark from support bar of tail gate. It is super easy to find out, maybe 30 second for just opening tail gate. I thought they checked my car for maintenance service period to avoid future deficit or accident. what they do is same maintenance service with civic. or just oil change or airfilter same as everywhere. not maintenance service by specialist for honda car. maintenance notice is not for help us to keep safety driving. just they want to us to come there to paid more money. (keep showing maintenance notice if we did not bring to honda dealer. that is nice strategy we cannot choose other service.) People who own Honda Odyssey and open tailgate at least once a day, Honda Planet does not care dropping tail gate to your head or your kids. Check the support bar yourself even you bring maintenance service every time to honda planet, they does not check anything for future deficit. you have to find out yourself. Break, engine, anyother place we have to find out where is almost broken. according to Tom Pacheco. they are not mind reader.

Get serviced and ripped off
Took my 98 Civic to Planet Honda for a $100 diagnostic test. I suspected transmission trouble. After running the tests, they said transmission was good but needed a sensor replaced and a clogged passage cleared. $800. I said OK. 3 days later I got a call saying that`s done but it did NOT fix my problem and the transmission definitely needs repair. $1800 more. I said NO, but agreed to it ONLY after I was told I`d be c... view moreharged only $1800. 4 more days later I pick up the car and they surprise me with a bill for $2700. Such cheating liars! That manager would only knock that bill down to $2272 and tried to tell me he is being nice and doing me a favor (???). Yeah, right. BOO to them (!!!)

Disappointed long time customer
I went in to inquire about new models. No one seemed to be around so I went to the reception area. The receptionist who, was working on some paper work, didn`t even look up or acknowledge me. I stood there for about three minutes before moving to the brochure area. After grabbing a couple brochures I walked around the show room to look at the models. With no one around to answer my questions, I decided to leave... view more. Finally on the way out the door I run into a sales guy. He answered all my questions with an attitude and made me feel like I was asking dumb questions. After leaving and doing some more digging on line, it turns out he was giving me misinformation. Just think how much money Honda spent to get me in the door and they totally blew it. Bad customer service!
