Now I have 2 that I trust

I just recently went to Denver to visit my Daughter and while there the clutch on my vehicle started acting strange. We were at the club house of her apartment complex using the internet to try and find a mechanic when I asked a young man working there if he had one that he trusted. He told me their name and even gave me the phone number which he had stored in his cell phone. I called and Gary said he could get it... view more in the next morning to see what was going on. I explained the situation to him and that I needed to get back to Arizona. I arrived there first thing in the morning and he took it right in and within a matter of minutes he diagnosed it as a Leaking Clutch Master Cylinder. He said the clutch would have to be replaced sooner or later (probably sooner) but He and the young man working with him did what they could do which was adjust it enough so I could get back home to my regular mechanic and he didn`t charge me and arm and a leg. As with many of us we have that one mechanic that we trust and always go to. The same goes for me but now I have 2; 1 in Colorado and 1 at home in Arizona. I would like to thank Gary and his crew for helping a stranded tourist with honesty, fairness and empathy. You guys are top notch! Keep up the great work!

Best service anywhere! Honest, friendly automotive repair shop.

Swift Automotive is a small family owned repair shop. My family and I have been taking ours cars there for over 8 years now. Good, Friendly and Fair

This mechanic was recommended to us by my brother in law, a construction supervisor. He tends to know his stuff. We have not been disappointed. We have two cars but only bring the minivan here since the other is foreign. We bring that one to a mechanic specializing in that brand.

I do a lot of comparison ... view moreshopping on the internet and have compared the price Swift charges for parts versus what I can buy them for on line - the difference is obviously the profit and labor. To date they have been very reasonable.

They do the usual call before they start the work to let you know what is wrong, what they recommend to fix it and what it will cost. Again - always very friendly and no hard sell or upsell detected. They have always had the vehicle complete when they said it would be and usually that is the same day. One time they had to order parts.

I am no expert but since I started bringing this 10 year old vehicle to Swift and not the dealer (pretty much stopped with the dealer right after the warranty expired) I have had to do very little to keep it in good shape. In seven years Swift replaced the spring joints, the fuel pump, and some other more minor repairs and did 1 or 2 tuneups.

I usually get the oil changed at a cheap place near my house and buy the tires where ever they are cheapest. But that`s just me.
