BATE and SWITCH HEADQUARTERS
If only I could give zero stars. I called to verify a lease offer on a new Hyundai and confirm it was still available. The advertised deal was $159 per month with $1,699 due at signing. When I called the salesman, Byron, infromed me I would really need $3,000 up front, taxes and fees were not included in the advertised deal. It was still a good deal, so I drove across town to make the deal. I found Byron at the deale... view morer and he gave me the keys and said he woud work up the numbers while I test drove the car. When I returned to the dealer Byron asked for some personal information and then left me and my wife for about 20 minutes. When he returned, he had a different deal for me that included an extra $80 per month out of my pocket. He said the Denver Post made a mistake in the ad. He offered no applogy, just wanted to know, ""Where do you want to be""? I wanted to be anywhere but at Arapahoe Hyundai. The salemanager also told me the Denver Post made a mistake, no applogy, no reason why they could not have corrected the ad when I called or before I drove the car, or before I sat in the sales office for 20 minutes. Does anyone buy a car after this sort of treatment? We loved the car, but could not get out of the dealership fast enough. Avoid Arapahoe Hyundia!

The worst display of service I have ever seen
I had just moved into town and no idea where to get my 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe serviced....all I knew is that I had made it to the Denver area with a horrible smell of gas coming through the air vents for the last 600+ miles of my move from Dallas.
We arrived at our hotel in the Denver Tech center and did a search from my phone for Hyundai Dealers in my area and found that there was a dealership within 4 miles of o... view moreur hotel, Arapahoe Hyundai so even after having a horrible headache from the fumes, I felt it would be okay for only a few more miles and was okay to drive, boy was I wrong. Now the smell of gasoline was so bad I thought I was going to pass out or even worse explode.
I didn`t explode by my evidence of writing this review.
Once I arrived at Arapahoe Hyundai I parked in the first parking spot I saw. Before I could even get out of car and take my first non toxic breath I was greeted by two salespeople saying"" you can`t park here "" . I told them about my problem and they said you need to drive back to service, and pointed back and laughed.
I hopped back in to my fuel wagon and headed back to service. I pulled into the service area and was greeted by a young man who asked what I was in for. I told him that my car has been smelling of gas for the last 600+ miles. He stuck his head in my car and said "" yeah it`s gas"" . He than asked me if I had made an appointment. No I said, I just relocated to Denver and had only been here for a few hours. He said okay "" two guys are off, so it`s going to be a wait. I asked if he had an estimate of time because I had a pregnant wife and hungry four year old back at the hotel.
He said 10 minutes or so...40 minutes later another young man cam in and asked if I were the guy with the leaky Santa Fe? I said yes and we walked down a hallway and he told me that I was going to have to make an appointment for next week. I was very upset...what was I going to do? I pleaded with him asking if there were any way I could get it in today? This was the point where rudeness turned into arrogance he and I wish I had gotten his name. Said "" yes if you had made an appointment for today it would be getting fixed today. I was shocked I had never had been in such a bad place and had someone who I was going to have to pay to fix my car be so over the top RUDE!
I left very upset and had my car towed to another Hyundai store who fixed it the very next day.
I have only written one other negative review in my 37 years and several positive one`s. I depend more and more on the experiences of others that I felt the need to warn everyone in my new home Denver.
STAY AWAY FROM ARAPAHOE HYUNDAI

Really good experience, so far...
I knew the exact kind of car that I wanted, so I sent for a quote through their website. Leo Zombek responded back promptly and I told him want I wanted and what I was willing to pay. He got back to me again, this time with a quote that was perfect (almost to good to be true). I felt skeptical of course but when i showed up, the car was waiting for me ready for a test drive. The paperwork was indeed what we had agree... view mored on and the process was really quick. I put down a down payment and will sign final paperwork and pick up the car in a few days. I`ll update if it doesn`t keep going smoothly, but otherwise, I HIGHLY recommend Arapahoe Hyundai! Awesome place!

Teetering on the brink of bad
We purchased our vehicle here and have had a recurring problem with the sliding doors. `07 Entourage. They repaired one side after several visits. First you have to come in for them to diagnose, then you have to come back when the parts come in, which take FOREVER! They get "ok" ratings because they give us a loaner car, but we have to drive an hour round trip just to get to the dealer, so multiple visit... view mores are a pain. Then the other side started acting up and we`ve been back three more times, once because they ordered the wrong part, then told us it was fixed when it wasn`t. We also asked them to check the brakes on that visit and they said the brakes are fine, which they aren`t, they are down to 1/8" on the front, which isn`t fine. We also asked them to check the alignment as the vehicle pulls hard to the left and they had done prior repair work from a collision, they said it`s fine, but it is not, it still pulls hard to the left. We still don`t have our door fixed and it`s been about 2 months.
Not happy...

Dishonest, incapable to perform simple repair
was happy with this establishment. I have even bought my car from them.
However my last two issues left me upset enough to go around the net and spread a word about their screw ups.
The service department needed 4 different visits, and dealer`s ""master technician"" would be telling it is ok for transmission to grind. Well after HMC USA getting involved, the transmission got repaired and no problem.

Now they changed the strut at mid 50k miles. Took 3 trips. 1st: could not replicate the problem, 2nd: could not replicate the problem, but I asked to show the ""issue"". After showing the leaking oil from blown shock this dealer agreed to fix the car. 3rd: by the time I drove to Parker Road I had obnoxious knocking, turned around to a dealer.... oh they forgot to install the spacer.
Well now 5k miles later- the same strut blown out again. I decided I can do the job w/o delay... upon disassembly notice ""fudged"" stripped nut with lock tie, rounded off ""D"" shape in upper insulator and channel lock marks on the shock rod (explains why the shock was so short lived). Dealer/service manager/Mike Dyer is ""not buying my parts"".
So think twice before letting this folks do anything for you. Oh yeah to tap it off... they don`t document the complaints, so according to them I had one visit/complaint with my tranny and one visit/complaint with my strut.
Would you trust them?

AVOID!!! BAIT and SWITCH!!!
These guys will promise you the lowst price, but they will brutalize you with hidden interest rates. I was promised $350/month car payments, and they tried to force me into $545/month FOR THE SAME CAR!!!
The price they quoted me never changed, so I thought everything was OK, but I noticed that the INTEREST RATE kept jumping op on every page of paperwork. First it was 5%, then 7%, then 10% and so on...

I`ve heard similar complains from other Hyundai customers. Arapahoe may sell more cars than any other Hyundai dealer in the state, but they do it by scamming the hell out of their customers.
PS - Watch out for salesperson June Reynolds!!! She seems REALLY cool, but will LIE like the devil. Also, watch out for the guys in their financing department, they are just completely evil.
