News - Luxury Motors Out of Business

Hey Everyone, Just wanted to let you know that I went to Luxury Motors recently and it is out of business. The lot is empty and there is no one in the office. The experience I had with them was pretty good, but now I`m not sure if they are a legit business. Let`s see how this one turns out. Doug

NEVER BUY FROM HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought a car from ""T.D"", so he calls himself. That should have been my first clue that this company was not legit, but anyway... I bought a 2005 Sebring from him. When I bought it, the headlight was broke and both of the front windows would not roll down. He promised to not only fix both of these issues, but assured me that if anything goes wrong with the car, call him on his cell phone. The headlight was fi... view morexed the same day. It has now been over a month and the windows are still not fixed. I have called his business line as well as his cell phone with no response. A couple of times he has answered his phone and told me every time that he is on the way to get the part and to call him back. When I call him back, no answer. Now, I took the car to a repair place because the battery light kepy coming on. They told me that not only do I need a $370 alternator, but several other things are wrong with the car (over $3000) in work. Please, if you want to do business with an honest company, DO NOT GO TO LUXURY MOTORS in Centennial, CO!!!

good to deal with

been looking for a used toyota 4runner for several months, been every where got the run around all over and prepared for more of the same. i made an appointment with owner over the phone to see what he described as a near perfect high mile 4runner, aftter i drove it and thought it really did drive very well but way too many miles, greg advised me that it was well maintained and should take it to a mechanic no obligat... view moreion so i did i found that this 4runner had been maintain to near perfection, we had aggreed to a price already so i said yes they did paper work they did the paper work and i was on my way in no time very happy

I bought a 1999 4runner from Luxury motors 9/7/09, and it has been a nightmare ever since. The car was cleaned and detailed, looking very nice, only problem was the check engine light was on. We agreed that I would take it to a shop, and they would pay the cost to fix it if it was over $300, up to $500--if it was more, T.D. gave me his ""word"" that he would take it back no problem because he stands behind his vehi... view morecles. Well, I took it in to my local Toyota dealership, and they said there was a dirty sensor causing the check engine light to be on, but also found that it was leaking oil--they gave me an estimate of over $1200 to fix some gaskets, and the rear main seal. I called T.D. and explained this all to him, and he basically said it was not his problem, he sells his vehicles ""as is"". Legally, the ""as is"" paper I signed said nothing of an oil leak, or fixing anything beyond the light, but it was an obvious issue that T.D. and his mechanic covered up very well, so I have no legal recourse. I sucked it up, paid to have the oil leaks fixed, and now the check engine oil light is back on (I have yet to get this checked again). Also, it has been 3 weeks, and they have yet to pay off my trade-in vehicle, even after talking to them a week ago, and they assured me it would be taken care of. Bottom line--use EXTREME CAUTION if you are thinking of buying a car from these guys. Don`t make the same mistake I did--have a mechanic YOU trust look over the car before you do anything. All in all, I would NEVER consider purchasing another car from Luxury Motors. Complete lack of integrity. I gave them ONE star, because NO stars was not an option.
