RE: HYUNDAI RIVERSIDE SERVICE CENTER.
call Hyundai direct if you feel that the service center is not doing what you were told when you purchased the car read these links below. Don`t bother making a complaint to the superviors...go directly to Hyundai so that you get some sort of back up or help. Its not Hyundai`s fault ... view morethat this dealership does the minimum for customer care or help.
here is a link to NEW information about Hyundai and Kia`s biggest recall in the history of this very successful company. PLEASE READ ... facts just came out April 1,2013...so these 1.9 million customers will start the wave of needing help and we will see how Hyundai responds. This particular dealer is handling it much like Toyota did with there recall making it seem like its the drivers fault and responsibility.

REVIEW:
Esteban Mortin was not only rude and unhelpful to me when roadside assistance brought my car in, but they played ignorant to what was going on. He wanted to all the talking and didn`t want to hear anything...I felt like i was 4 and im 44.
He was concerned about getting off at 7pm and at one point threatened not to finish the transaction cause i was asking too many questions. He cut me off whenever I had a question and rolled his eyes every 5 minutes when I had a concern to talk out...
He would not give me a loaner car even after going over exactly what was wrong with the brake switch issue (part of a huge recall). My incident happened on a friday evening...when I told him I need help getting home due to the fact they needed to keep the car.. Estaban refused to help me get a ride home. I had to go to the sales to beg for a ride home which someone did help me with.
They will pass it off that Hyundai is a separate company and they are not responsible, which in most cases will not be true. After talking directly to Hyundai, they told it its completely up to the dealership sales or service dept on whether and who gets a loaner car. its really in their hands if they want to give you good service or not.
I complained the next day to his supervisor named JIM SAMM but he not only was not helpful, I left there feeling crossexamined, no reassurances,
No apologetic tone, long pauses...he went on to say that Estaban probably just wanted to go home to his family...but then I didn`t I
When I told how upsetting it was to me, I did call Hyundai to make a case that night. Hyundai told me about two other locations. Ontario and Corona. He was very arrogant and said, i know those guys...we are far better than they are. Unprofessional comment.
Lastly, Strangely was also getting a bit of a chauvinistic attitude which explains why Estaban acted the way he did. It comes from the top. Jim Samm. I`d be very curious...if they did a tally how many men get loaner cars vrs women. I observed Estaban, helping two women before me. His attitude and tone with them was frustrating to me...I felt like I was in a Madmen episode.
SIDENOTE:
When we spoke to a friend that is married to hyundai dealer, he told me they have to honor warranty work no matter where you bought the car...including loaner cars.
...refusing to honor a warranty without a valid reason would not sit well with the State Attorney Generals in most states. The warranty is through Hyundai and the dealers represent the manufacturer. For a dealer to refuse service just because you didn`t buy the car from them could be considered failure to honor a valid warranty claim which may in deed be illegal in some states.
