This place is not honest. Do not trust them. I had pad/shoes changed here and they told us it was a life time warranty. Actually it is not. When I had my car get a free brake check. I saw the guy hit my car back wheel axis very hard using a hammer after he took out the wheels, and told me my car needed to change pads/shoes/drums/shock/strut. I do not know why he needed to hammer my car very hard to check the brak... view moree in the back. I am going to take my car to other shop to check whether he intended to damage my car breaks system or shock/strut.

Not very honest

I brought my vehicle in and requested the rotors be resurfaced. I supplied the pads and received a call shortly after stating that the pads were for a different vehicle and that i needed new rotors. I told the gentleman named Bill I would come pick up the vehicle. Shortly after that I received a call saying the pads were correct and that they misread the part number (of which i supplied). THE BEST PRICE IN TOWN

This store by far had the best prices in town and also took very good care of me and my car. I am telling everyone I know about BRAKEMASTERS.

Never go to BrakeMasters

I dropped my car in off an oil change and wheel alignment. I received a call from an employee named Bill approximately one hour later advising me that there were numerous other "problems" with my car. According to Bill the brakes were leaking badly and there was brake fluid all over the brake pads, the brake pads needed to be replaced right away, the bushings on the read tires were broken, all of my belts... view more were cracked, etc. I stopped him at that point and asked him the cost. He advised that just the bushings would be $319.90. I did not ask him for the other prices and told him to not do anything until I called him back as I felt that he was trying to take advantage of me. The urgency in his voice and the long list of problems sent up a red flag. I called my father who usually performs all of the work on our vehicles and he said to go get my car immediately. My father and I checked out all of the "problems" Bill had listed off. The brakes had just been replaced a few months before and were in perfect condition. There was no leak, not even a slight leak, let alone the fluid all over the place that Bill had referred to. There is only one belt on my car and it was in perfect condition so Bill also lied about "all of my belts being cracked". In addition the rear calipers were also in perfect condition and not broken like Bill had advised. If I had not had a mechanic in my family I might not have known that they were tying to rip me off. I can`t believe a chain like Brake Masters with the motto "An Honest Brake Since 1983" would blatantly attempt to defraud a customer.

no checks

There was a blue no checks sign.Not many people take checks, everyone who has a checkbook has a debit card. Plus their service is great. Can`t beat it. Very nice, good pricing. Life Time Warranty is the icing on the cake.

We had work done here I went to pay and found out they do not take checks. We no longer use the cards. They have no signs at all in the store. So its cash or cards only.
