They can`t handle the truth!

Like many others, I wish I could give them negative ratings. I recently purchased my 2012 Tucson (Which I love and highly recommend) from Hardin and the experience was less than impressive. My purchasing experience was alright, it wasn`t the best and its wasn`t the worst, until we got into the finance department with Juan Santoro, who was just pushy and aggressive with trying to sell the extended warranty which he lo... view morewered from some ridiculous price to $1200. We didn`t take it because Hyundai already offers an awesome warranty with the car, which he did his best to convince us other wise :/ He was committed to his sale. Anyways, I am fortunate enough to have a relative that works for Hyundai, so I had a rebate certificate, since I didn`t have the certificate on me, we had to sign a bill of sale stating we would pay the difference if the certificate was not submitted. I talked to a couple of different people in the finance and finally got my paperwork taken care of (so I thought). Like any major purchase I was asked to complete a survey on my experience from Hardin. I answered every question honestly and I had no idea that it would come at a cost. Once Hardin received the survey they call me 2 time, left 2 voicemails and email threatening that if I didn`t send my certificate or the pay the balance due in 24 hours I would be sent to collections!!! I called Juan back and was treated like I was deliquent trying to pull a fast one on them. After forwarding him all my correspondence with his finance department, he didn`t even apologize he just trying getting off the phone as quick as possible but I stopped him and asked for an apology. He refused and asked why I decided to ""Bash the dealership in my survey"". I couldn`t believe what I was hearing, I was so shocked and the level of customer service. If a customer doesn`t give you an excellent review you harass and retaliate against them by trying to weasel more money out me? WOW HARDIN HYUNDAI I WAS RIGHT TO GIVE YOUR DEALERSHIP A BAD RATING!!! Instead of acting professional and contacting me to try to fix or make a CASH PAYING customer happy, they instead offend and harass those who are honest about a voluntary survey. After speaking to the GM Danielle she saw nothing wrong and did nothing to correct nor make any attempt to make me the customer happy. I love Hyundai but Hardin gives them a bad name, and after looking the BBB and many social site bashing the dealership I would have NEVER given them my business. Below is the actual text from the 24 hour collection notice they decided to send me: Martha this email is to inform you that you are being sent to collections for failing to bring us a copy of Plan E certificate and that you owe Hardin Hyundai $$$$.00. If you don`t call us back in 24 hours with either the plan E certificate number or the $$$$.00 you will be sent to collections immediately.

After fast Parts Dept. revenue & NOT a lasting relationship

On three or more separate occasions, I`ve been to Hardin Hyundai for Hyundai parts. On two separate occasions, the parts that the parts counter ordered for me were incorrect BASED ON THEIR ORDERING. This entails a two day wait for the incorrect parts to arrive, and a two day additional wait from the time you go in for the correct parts to arrive. On the third occasion, I only needed a thermostat housing stud, and ... view morenot a complete thermostat housing. I was told by the parts counter I had to buy either the $30 thermostat housing, OR the complete 2 piece housing AND thermostat for $66, no other choices. When I went to Patterson Hyundai in the Santa Ana Auto Mall, I was told that the stud ALONE could be ordered as a separate unit. I don`t plan on going to Hardin Hyundai ever again. What a poor picture Hardin Hyundai paints for the Hyundai product relationship! What a poor picture Hardin Hyundai paints for themselves as automobile dealerships to the Orange County community ! The cashier`s area was the most professional and efficient. When I walked in, the service writer was texting on his cellphone, and there was no one around in the Parts Department to even speak to.
