I called Edwin towing when the fuel pump went out on my car, and left me stranded. The tow truck driver that showed up was very unprofessional and seem to be very inexperienced. When unhooking my car, he forgot to remove one of the straps from the tires and was yanking and pulling trying to pull out his forks from under my car. When I notice what he was doing, I shouted telling him that he forgot one of the straps, b... view moreut it was to late, He ended up breaking a tie rod. Great! Now I have to worry about fixing the fuel pump and a tie rod. Next day (friday) they sent a supervisor named Javier(later i found out he`s the owner) he took my car to get repaired and said that he would return my car the next day. I waited all day for his call, but he never called, so i called him and asked him if my car was ready, because I need it to take it to my mechanic to replace the fuel pump. He told me the car wasn`t going to be ready until Monday after 10AM! This guy got very rude and nasty and refused to tell me the name or address of the shop where my car was, and hung up on me! When I called him back, he started cursing and yelling again! I told him i was going to file a complaint with the Better Business bureau, he told me he didn`t give f***k So I drove to the address on their business card in Montclair, but they are no longer at this location. I called their office and the person that answered the phone didn`t want to give me the address because he said they were closed. I Had to google it. Now my car pulls to one side, and I have no receipt or even any proof that this guy took my car to a real mechanic shop! for all I know this guy probably took my car to one of buddies house to fix! Everyone there is very rude and unprofessional from the dispatcher, the tow truck driver and especially Javier!!! STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!

On 02/10/2012, I called Edwins...
On 02/10/2012, I called Edwins Towing and talked with their dispatch lady for a quote to tow our two forklifts from Claremont to Rancho Cucamonga. She said $70.00 each unit flat. I repeated verbally and confirmed that the total to pay at end of the service is $140.00. She agreed and confirmed. (Later she left a message at my voice mail.) The scheduled pick-up time was 3:30pm same day. By the time the driver picked up... view more the first unit, he demanded for cash. He said if charged by credit card, the rate is $75.00. I then called the same dispatch lady to verify. She said the additional amount is for the credit card company. It sounded dishonest and tricky so I told her to cancel the order. She then called back to agree with the original offer $70 a unit with no cash limit. By the time the second unit arrived at destination, Rancho Cucamonga, about 5:20pm, the driver demanded for cash again. I called the dispatch lady but no one answered the phone. Then the driver just took off without unloading my one forklift. Later I talked with Javier, may have been one of Edwins owners. He said we need to pay impound fee. Or if the truck comes back, we need to pay additional. On 02/14, I stopped by Edwins Towing at 5391 Brooks St, Montclair, Ca to discuss the issue. They asked for $600 in cash then told me to get out. This is a daytime robbery! We already reported to the police and I have to remind you never use Edwins Towing.
