Lying ads false prices
We today went to buy a new f150 that the dealership had posted on there website for $23000. The sales man said that the truck was that price after he verified the vin numbers to the ad. Once we took it for a test drive and went to the table to purchase the vehicle they said they couldn`t honor there own website price and that the price was $38000 after we had been there for and hour and a half.. We have bought over 6... view more vehicles from here and WERE very loyal customers.. But that doesn`t matter to them and if it was a mistake or not they should honor there price like a true honest business.. This business is a very sad excuse for a business.. Please avoid if possible so you don`t get taken advantage of as well. Truthfully it deserves zero stars all the way around...

If you?re looking for a deal...
If you?re looking for a dealership to stand behind their product, and their service department DO NOT GO TO SWANSON FAHRNEY OF SELMA!!!!
I bought my Toyota Sienna from Swanson Fahrney in Selma when they had a Toyota dealership. Then for seven years I faithfully got my van service there. I was totally loyal to them thinking that if I continued my service with them that I could depend on them to take care of me if... view more something happened. But when I had a flat my first flat in seven years it turned out the spare tire was a manufacture defect. I transport three handicap people one being my 96 year old mother. Luckily where I bought my tires (Costco) was around the corner so after AAA change the flat I limped in there at 15 mph I asked them what was wrong with the spare. I was shocked when they told me the spare was a manufactory defect that it was mounted wrong from the factory. I asked are you sure it wasn?t something I did, hit it when it was under my van ran it low on air something.... They said no that they never saw anything like this and pointed out on the tire where the problem was, and that a normal tire doesn?t look like this. For three weeks I went back and forth with The Fahrney dealership, their service department and every level of management including the owners of the Swanson Fahrney plus the Toyota area representative and Toyota itself. They didn?t conceder it was a factory defected, but because my van was not under warranty any longer that they could not help me or replace the spare not even sell me one at cost. Not once did they consider that I was a faithful customer for the past seven years or value me as a future customer but their bottom line is the revenue they bring in. (See Poor Service Review) Unfortunately there is not a tire shop that can get this donut size tire other then Toyota and the cost is between $250 and $300 depending on what Toyota dealership you contact. This spare tire is a Firestone tire and even Firestone couldn?t help me because it wasn?t out of warranty. If this wasn?t so serious it would be funny how the different Firestone dealerships would come up with pointing the blame at me who pulled off the tire to see the defect etc which includes Swanson Fahrney of Selma. But in looking for this spare tire and going to every tire shop showing them the spare tire. Everyone was consistent with that this was a defective tire and was something they never saw before. So if you?re looking for a dealership to stand behind their product, and their service department DO NOT GO TO SWANSON FARNEY OF SELMA!!!! The Ford dealership is one in the same. I even tried to talk to Mr. Farney through his assistance HE REFUSED TO TALK TO ME, telling me that there was nothing they could do. Mind you I have a seven year old Sienna and ready to buy a new Toyota. But after this experience with Swanson Farney, their incompetent service department, and TOYOTA INC I will never purchase a TOYOTA or recommend their service department EVER!!!!

I went here ready to purchase ...
I went here ready to purchase a used car. We had spoken to a sales women and she said and I quote, &quote we can work with the price my manager said we can see about getting it down to $23,000." so we told her we would go home and sleep on it. We came back ready to purchase and when negotiations started she said, "I never quoted you that price." that was the beginning of this absolu... view moretely horrible conversations we had at this place. It was lie after lie. She offered us $8,000 (with managers approval) for our trade in then a second sales man came in to tried to help her and he said, "all we can offer you for your car is $7,300." they wanted us to make all these sacrifices but they
were not will to negotiate at all even when we were told the first day they were willing to negotiate. The worst part is that the car was a used 2007 used Yukon with 57,000 miles
listed at $26,000 but had 1 big crack on the dash and two medium sized cracks on the
dash, scratches on the interior wood paneling, scratches on exterior black paint, and the
interior handles were ripped up and scratched you every time you opened the driver and
passenger doors. They wanted to charge us for fixing the handles. WORST place ever!!
