Honest... Great Service
Ive been going to the Jiffy Lube in Santa Ana on Tustin Ave for years. This location is owned by the same people. I followed John and Jim the owners over from their old business where they worked on my cars for 10 plus years. They are TRUSTWORTHY and do an excellent job of keeping you informed! Great service!!!!
Visit either location

1) Cannot follow-thru with customer instructions; 2) Constant overtightening of the new oil filter..
This was my second bad experience with this franchise of Jiffy Lube, located adjacent to the Home Depot on Katella, between Batavia and Glassell, in the city of Orange, CA.
CANNOT FOLLOW-THRU WITH CUSTOMER INSTRUCTIONS - I have asked twice to not do the vacuuming AS WELL AS no window washing, and the employee who stands under the umbrella by the computer shakes his head acknowledging what you said, but neve... view morer types the instructions into the invoice, which is given to the personnel who do the actual work. Also, my feeling this time is that they did NOT use the 10W-30 oil I asked for, it looked like 5W-30 when I did the next oil change myself, runnier than water...
CONSTANT OVERTIGHTENING OF THE NEW OIL FILTER - << THE FOLLOWING IS A QUOTE FROM THE INTERNET AT V8SHO COM, FEEL FREE TO TYPE IN THE TEXT INTO A SEARCH AND READ THE ARTICLE FOR YOURSELF - ""The problem with over tightening oil filters is that once put on too tight they can be a beast to remove."">>
A new oil filter should NEVER be overtightened, because they tighten up anyways as the vehicle is driven. Overtightening leads to frustration and unnecessary usage of force by the next person who does the oil change. I have used Jiffy Lube as a fill-in for when I did not have the time, or did not want to do the oil change myself, at the 3,000 mile change interval. This was the second time I almost had to use a plumbing pipe wrench to remove Jiffy Lube`s overtightened oil filter from my vehicle, when I did the following oil change myself.
I believe the personnel as well as this Jiffy Lube franchisee is incompetent, and / or does not care about customer service, or meeting customer expectations, such as verbal instructions.
This Jiffy Lube is NOT RECOMMENDED for the above reasons.
