Over the top service

I pulled up my F250 4x4 in the pouring rain and told John, the owner, that I was hearing grinding when I made left turns. I had already done the prefunctory shadetree mechanic checks and had found nothing. John took me out for a test drive. He couldn`t tell what was causing the grinding, but noticed the ball joints were out of whack. I left the truck to be fixed. When I came back to pick the truck up here the st... view moreory I heard. "Your ball joints were some of the worst I`ve seen that were steal on the truck. They were ready to fail. The grinding noise was caused by a broken exhaust mount. When turning left the exhaust would move slightly and rub the frame. We found it by driving in left hand circles while I was laying on the side running board.
