My muffler on my Jeep was maki...

My muffler on my Jeep was making a horrible sound. Part of the muffler had been corroded through. Stopped by and got a estimate. Immediately there was upsell after my vehicle was on the rack. Ended up paying about 150 more than originally priced. Head technician was arrogant as the other posters had stated. Should have walked away but they already had my Jeep held hostage on the hoist.

Worst experience ever!!!

I was in the market for a new muffler for my vehicle. Nothing really wrong with my mufflers on my vehicle. I just heard about Magnaflows and have had good experiences with one on my other vehicle. Found this place which was close to my home. Got to the location and asked for a estimate. Right off the bat the owner seemed to upsell. Said 300 for two mufflers. I told him I would shop arround but thanks. He said ... view more250 for everything. Showed me the mufflers which were real magnaflows. I said ok. While cutting off the old mufflers, he tries to upsell chrome tips. I said that I couldnt afford it. So his coworker begins fabricating steel tips. I told him that steel tips were fine. He said are you sure no crome tips while holding them in place. I said no thanks , steele tips please. Well little did he know that spanish is a second language. After my third refusal, he mumbled something in spanish to his coworker and said A hole in spanish.. The nerve of this barbarian to call me a a hole just because i want to save money. Well this got me furious!!!!. I had to do something but seeing that I am in law enforcement, I see this all the time. As a customer, no customer should experience this when giving a business business. Well I began to pace back and forth for a bit. I finally told him he better be carefull. He asked me If I knew spanish. I said i understood spanish. Well all of a sudden he was jumping around and finished my car himself. He even went as far as putting the chrome tips and hangers on for free. What a massive greasball. Bottom line, i kept it civil and left the location without any small talk. Jerks like this should go out of business. It doesnt matter how cheap he offers his labor!

Muffler Service

Wanted to upgrade my vehicle to either a flowmaster or magnaflow muffler for economy and sound. Took my first vehicle there. They showed me both mufflers and running on the vehicle but added upsell. First it was 145 dollars. Then it went to 220 dollars due to my muffler being a 3 port. Even with the upsell it was cheaper than others so I agreed. I guess I had to agree because they had already chopped my old muf... view morefler off. Decided to give them a second shot since their regular muffler was 145 and it was local. They charged me extra 35 dollars for removing the second of two mufflers on the vehicle which went to 180. Then another 35 for a cheap chrome tip. He charged me 220 which didnt add up. Well they didnt tell me about the resonance that the flowmaster would have driving down the road. So back to the shop and traded it out for a magnaflow which im happy with, for another 80 buck. Of course 87 plus tax. Lots of upsell and marketing gimmicks. Wish they would just be upfront. Would recommend due to pricing being cheaper than others but if you dont like games, forget this place.
