I took my daughter`s IROC Camaro to this shop because I wanted a decent paint job for a good price. It is my daughters first car and at 16 years old I honestly expected her to wreck it so I did not want to invest a lot of money in this car. I selected the middle of the road paint job which included a primer coat but no body work. The manager told me the clear coat is included in the base coat (one stage) and it would... view more look nice. he took me around the shop and showed me another car which had the paint I had selected. It looked good so I went ahead and had them do the job. The paint job turned out great. (my daughter was VERY happy) The paint turned out shiny and actually looked like it had a clear coat on it. Its been about THREE YEARS and the paint is still looking good. After normal wear and tear it has held up nicely. I am now shopping for a paint job for my daily driver and depending on price, I will defiantly go with Scheib Oceanside again. I found Earl Scheib Oceanside to be Nice guys with quick two day service and paint that stuck to the car and looks good years later. Shop around and look at the cars they have actually painted and remember body work is extra.

Got a Decent Paint Job

I was concerned based on other reviews but was pleasantly surprised at the quality. It has been three months. There have been no problems. Be sure to inquire about the preparation process. Ask a lot of questions.

Horrible work, with cheap paint

Their idea of fixing their awful paint jobs leaves a giant discolored spot. In less than 1 year, my paint has already start to fade, and chip off. Their warrenty is a joke. DO NOT GET WORK DONE HERE!!!
