Excellent Service
I have been bringing my vehicle to Jemco the past year since I moved to the Oakland downtown area. They have taken great care of me and provided excellent service and have always saved me money. I really enjoy how clean the shop is and how professional and friendly the staff is. My car is running great and they have maintained it very well. Don`t believe what you read.
jemco_never exists purely to blast our company. Not only here, but also on Yahoo! local, this person has written the exact same statement without giving any REAL reason as to why we deserve such a low rating. One of the reasons they believe we deserve a low rating is because we do not accept personal checks.
In recent years, we adopted our ""no checks"" policy because some customers would approve thousands of ... view moredollars in repair bills and pay with a personal check. Days later, the bank returns the check to us, noting that the account on the check has ""insufficient funds."" After losing a few thousand dollars this way, I don`t think any business would continue to take a check.
On another rating site, they stated that the ""NAPA parts boxes"" were for ""show only."" In truth, we do NOT purchase parts from Napa, Kragen, or AutoZone. We purchase our parts directly from suppliers that build parts for the automakers themselves. Our Toyota water pumps come directly from Aisin. Our Honda timing belts come from Continental. Alternators and starters from Bosch or Denso. We absolutely refuse to adhere to the standard ""buy low, sell high"" method of auto repair. All of our parts are OE specified or higher.
One final note. One problem with the internet and anonymous sites like this provide the one dissatisfied client with a public forum to scream and shout. While we do not run into a client such as this person often, nine times out of ten there is a problem with their vehicle that is unrelated to the work we performed. Replacing an engine does not make your taillight stop working. Replacing brake pads doesn`t make your engine seize.
