Clean and comfortable

I purchased my first Lexus at Putnam Lexus and had a great experience, sales and service. The drive was a bit too far from home (SF), so I`ve changed over to Coliseum Lexus. The service department has been perfect. Appointments have been easy to arrange on the telephone or website. Always good

Service is always good at Lexus, both with the car and customer. People don`t tell you where to go, they show you. Price is always going to be steep, but you get what you pay for when it comes to car service. Sure they recommend a lot of repairs. Duh! It`s a dealership. At least they make a point in telling you everything that is worn on your vehicle, repairs are always optional. Coliseum has my trust

This review is strictly for the service department. Since moving to the city a couple of years ago, I have been getting my car serviced by Michael. He`s always had a loaner car available for me, and he`s honest about everything. Sure, I pay a premium for getting maintenance at the dealership, but it saves me the headache of making sure my car is going to be in good shape. Great guys, all of them

Even now, still excellent service. Walter always helps me out, especially if I`m in a time crunch. Even though he`s super busy, he makes sure that you are comfortable and satisfied with the service. Tony, one of the master technicians, also goes out of his way to make sure I understand the fixes and recalls that are being done on my car. Katie and Walter were extremely helpful. I brought my IS350 in for recall without an appointment, and they were able to help me immediately. I`m looking forward to picking up my car in two days!

Great Staff

I am giving this dealership 5 star. Sonny is the General Sales Manager and helped us out with Sales Person Satish. We arrived and he greeted us and wasn`t the typical schmarmy dude with lame social skills (car dealerships are magnets for these types!). In fact, everyone there was smart, funny and very kind. They left us alone to wander around and check out cars on our own... a whole lot of inventory on the lot but en... view moreough for us (we were looking at IS 250 CV) .They are doing even more business these days, so we were shocked at the low cost of our car AND that Sonny immediately agreed to give us another reduction in price. Everything went swimmingly! I highly recommend Coliseum Lexus of Oakland especially buying car after 15 years; my husband is very knowledgeable about cars and much experience negotiating. By the end, he was informed, confident and happy.

I am floored by this place- they rock!

My husband and I came in after hours. We called 10 mins before the place was expected to close and Eric answered. He said that we were welcome to come in from the back. PLUS ONE STAR Eric was busy but DJ greeted us at the door with the warmest smile. He was the only person on the floor and was attending to three other people. He looked obviously very busy but was very patient and polite with us. Keep in mind- ... view morewe are a young couple in our mid-20s. we don`t look like serious buyers...even though we were PLUS ONE STAR We told DJ our measly budget and instead of shoo-ing us away like ALL OTHER LEXUS DEALERS IN THE BAY AREA (Putnam, auto mall etc), he actually took us around the lot PERSONALLY in the cold at 8pm (They close at 7pm). PLUS TWO STAR Eric and DJ showed us a car which we liked. Before the negotiations started, we requested to be home by 10pm. Unlike my last experience with buying a car (a 7 hour negotiation process) we were DONE in 20 mins! That`s right- 20 minutes. AMAZING! PLUS ONE STAR The car needed to be detailed and we were told to pick it up the next day. We went the next day and some work was still left to be done. Instead of rescheduling, DJ sent us home in our new car and told us that while my husband is at work, he will send someone to PICK UP the car, LEAVE ANOTHER CAR, and drop it off by end of day. Wow talk about service! PLUS ONE STAR So, here we are, in our new car and BOY are we happy! The car looks amazing and the meeting DJ and Eric was a pleasure! I am not scheduled to change my car for another couple of years, but when I do, I am going to look them up first.
