Please read first... BEWARE !!!

I have used carcoa before on my cars backin 2003.They did good work. The last paint job however not good at all. Maria at oceanside told me after the paint job was done`` step back 12 feet and look at your paint job thats our work`` she also said`` Dont look to close you wont be happy`` . Three months later all my paint started bubbling off the size of footballs .So i called pete, the general manager for carcoa and ... view moresaid we need to sand and repaint the full bus. I brought the bus back in and I was told by pete it would be done in two weeks.The bus was sitting in the shop for over 3 months. I went in there and asked ""whats going on are we going to fix my bus?"" The Manager whom was working at the time said carcoa corp. doesen`t want to pay for the paint and laber to redo the bus right now. Then within 1 week later i got a call from pete the general mngr saying you need to get your bus out of the shop were closing the shop down and your bus is done with the new paint job.I went down there and the bus did not start. I also noticed over spray all over rims, the new rubber, the windows and the engine was covered with paint. I noticed they painted over all my electrical wires under my dash. I asked if this all can be cleaned up and Pete said we have no one that works here anymore and this shop location is closing tommorow. I refused to take the bus home and informed them that they need to get it to start up again. I picked my bus up a week later and brought it home because the new owner and company at the location wanted the bus out. I got home and started cleaning and wiping the bus down and noticed the primmer coat coming through the paint. The door panal and gas tank cover is a gray prime color and the rest of van is a dark toned color. There is fish eye bumps all over the paint. I now have a big disaster on my hands .I spent over $3900.00 on a paint job that i will have to get fixed and will cost me double to fix it now.They will not fix the bus nor return my phone calls. Im writing this to help people that are doing research before they get a job done on there vehichle and to inform them about my experience. Hopfully this helps you on your next mission to find a good shop to paint your project. PLEASE BEWARE!!!

Stay Away!

I would not recommend this shop. This is one of 4 Carcoa Shops in San Diego County owned by the same person. I recently had work done by their Oceanside shop. The body work was poorly done. I complained to the general manager who oversees all 4 shops, but he refused to have the work redone properly. When I drove the car home, there were parts hanging down under the car and were dragging on the road, because they... view more neglected to fasten them properly when they `finished` the job. Everyone I have showed the work to thinks it was done by an amateur. Nobody who has seen the work that Carcoa did to my car would ever take their cars there.
