Trustworthy, Fast and Reliable

I have been dealing with these guyrs since 2009 and have never had any compaint for their jobs. Except 1 time I faced a problem and went to their shop and they fixed it immediately. They do stand behind the products they sell and their services.

Horrible customer service at the front desk

Back in Aug 2008 I bought full set of tires (Firestone), including wheel alignment, balancing and mounting for $510. Their service was nice, polite and very friendly. They gave me 50000 miles limited warranty. In the last three years I have driven the car very seldom, all together less than 2000 miles. At middle of Feb 2011 one of my tires got punctured by a nail. I`ve explained to the front desk guy what I need and told him very clearly that I came to their shop because of my previous very positive experience with them. The guy said, OK, let`s see if we can fix your tire. It will cost you $25. So, we went to the parking lot He checked the tire and said; No, we can not repair this, because the nail is too close to the side wall of the tire. I asked him, can you do something else, because the tire is practically, brand new (2000 miles on it). He said again, I am not willing to fix the tire.It is against company policy to fix the hole, which is too close to the wall. He also said, go and ask for the second opinion elsewhere. I said, OK. I will do it. So, I went to PeP Boys on El Camino Street in Sunnyvale. [Pep Boys Auto 170 West El Camino Real Sunnyvale, CA 94087-1303(408) 774-0159] They told me the same. They were not willing to fix the tire. BUT, they added, if you had bought the tires from us (PeP Boys), we would replace it with new, because all of our tires have 50000 miles or 5 years warranty. They suggested to go back to Dastgah Firestone Tire Company and ask them what kind of policy they have. Perhaps, they honor similar policy as we do. Or, at least, they said, Dastgah should replace your tire for the prorated price. Armed with this information, I went back to Dastgah Firestone Tire Company shop. While I was driving back, I saw a MIDAS Tire service shop [Midas Auto Repair Sunnyvale 725 E. El Camino Real Sunnyvale, CA 94087 (408) 736-7660]. I stopped by and ask them about tire repair. Their answer was the same. The tire can not be safely repaired. Go back to the Dastgah Firestone Tire Company shop and ask them, at least, for the prorated price for the new tire. So, armed with this info, I showed up at the Dastgah Firestone Tire Company shop. I started to explain to the front desk guy what I learned in the past 45 minutes. I asked him, if he could do the same (or similar) what Pep Boys or Midas would do if the full set of tires was purchased from them. I did not even finish my explanation when the front desk guy rudely interrupted me and started his 3-5 minutes long monologue. The tone of his monologue was very hostile and non friendly. He was talking to me like I am 15 years old kid who want?› to get a candy for free. Btw... I am 60 years young guy. This was going on and on and on. His voice become angry. I was just listening there , waiting for him to finish the lecture of what is business, what is warranty, how long is he in tire business... etc etc. Finally, he stopped for couple seconds. I took the advantage, asking him with a calm polite voice, if we could find a middle ground. I did not finish my statement he started again another 2-3 minute monologue, lecturing me that I do not understand what h e is trying to tell me. I tried to tell him that I do understand his position ... I did not finish my statement, when he cut me of again and said: I am refusing to give you a service, please, leave the office. So, dear readers, if you want to experience rudeness, hostility, bad manners, what customer service should not have been and feel humiliated, just go to Dastgah Firestone Tire Company at 135 N Wolfe Road #60, Sunnyvale, CA 94086 (408) 733-8473 and politely ask the front desk clerk for service, which is a common practice for MIDAS and Pep Boys in Sunnyvale.

Dastgah Tire and Service

This is the most honest, proficient, and efficient mechanic shop I`ve ever been to. Thank to Dastgah Tire Company & Service. The staff are incredibly friendly and didn`t laugh their heads off at me, when I came in, worried about a high pitched noise that sounded like chains rattling, coming from my car when I drove. Dastgah Tire Company & Service

The service writers out front are courteous, friendly, and personable. I have been to this location twice, once to purchase a set of tires and the second time to have them rotated. At my second visit, the service write checked all four tires for tread wear. He did this taking several readings on each tire, which provides a more detailed indication of the tires health.
I especially appreciate the warranty, which is... view more one of kind in the industry. If anything goes wrong with a tire, they replace it. Yes, there are limitations, but it is a better deal than most of the rest of the industry. Check it out!

My wife took her Mercedes to Dastgah Tire Company & Service for major service. He looked over the car and told everything that was needed. I was really surprised to hear that the price for the service was about 100% less than at the dealer. It`s close to work; the owner is friendly and has been working on cars for over many years.
