Alvin Tassano Sr. and his son, Al "Junior" Tassano, purchased a fledgling Radiator business from its founders in 1955, only eight years after it opened. Al`s wife, Lillian, and Junior`s wife, Joan, kept the books for the business. Over the course of the next several years, they honed their bench skills, developed their own shop equipment, and trained several technicians in the fine art of radiator repairing and recoring, the business grew and prospered. In the early 1980`s, a third generation joined the staff. Daughter Terry and son Al III learned the business from the bottom up, having watched radiator repairs since they were young children. In 1982, the family decided to incorporate and came up with the name "Teralt, Inc.", which is a blend of Terry`s first name, the Al`s first name, and the last letter "t" for Tassano. Today, Western Radiator is largely in the capable hands of Terry and Al III. In 1994, the Tassano Family added a second location to the business: Western Radiator of Lodi. Western Radiator veteran, Randy Stapleton, manages the Lodi shop. More changes were to come as Terry and Al recognized the need for a business in the area that could manufacture automotive tubes and hoses quickly and affordably. So, in 1997, they opened Western Tubes n` hoses, which is housed in the original Stockton shop location, and again, the business grew and prospered. The Tassano Family business philosophy is: honesty, reliability, dependability, and integrity. Keeping promises, doing it right, and giving service that you would like to receive is of utmost importance to Western Radiator. This business philosophy has kept hundreds of satisfied customers coming back again and again over the last 50 years.

I didn`t know a whole lot about this place but surprisingly my buddy said they do good work so I called and was told everything I wanted to hear. I own a 68 Mustang and asked if they do classic cars. I was told they love painting them. Long story short I had it towed down because I pulled the motor and tranny out. That was another service they were going to do for me. I was restoring it and wanted the engine compartm... view moreent painted nice and was paying additional for it. They didn`t start the car for the first week after I dropped it, I also paid extra to get the window weatherstripping replaced. They destroyed my new trim and got glue on my new paint. They left my doors open and got my ORIGINAL interior covered in dust and told me they would clean it up, even after calling the day prior to picking it up I mentioned it and they never cleaned it. There was undercoating on all my fenders and sprayed it on my new suspension. There was runny paint and drips everywhere. They had over spray on my windows. As far as my engine compartment they did no masking and did a horrible job. Clearly a blind child with down syndrome was having a blast trying to paint my car. They used reallllly cheap under hood paint used out of a can and got my power booster and steering box covered with that trash. Serious issues and I`m being promised it`s gonna be fixed. I`m gonna sue their company if they don`t fix all the problems they caused me

Never go here

I came here in 2009 to have my whole car painted. I thought I was getting a quality paint job, but it was the worst I`ve ever seen. The whole car had an orange peel look and parts that had been sanded weren`t painted, like the mirrors. My car also had brand new head lights and windshield that they scratched and had over spray on. When I called the corp. office, they gave me no concern or respect to my situation. This... view more facility went ahead and repainted my car, but denied replacing the windshield and head lights. The second paint job came out with less orange peel look but more lumps, and debris in the paint. I always get told how bad of a paint job a got. I do not recommend this paint shop if you want a quality paint job. Pay the extra $$ to go somewhere else.
