Ace Muffler is a family owned business in Westminister for 30 years. I`ve had 4+ years of experience with Ace and son Chris has recently taken over. OUTSTANDING SERVICE

Ace has installed several Magnaflow Cat-back systems on my Ford F150s and Explorers. Outstanding job, fast, quality installation! In fact, when Ford Senior Engineers (from Detroit) asked what type of exhaust system I had installed on one of my Explorers and who installed, they were so impressed by 1) the Magnaflow system and 2) installation that they requested I mention both Magnaflow and Ace Muffler (Westminster... view more!) on a video interview, to be used later for a Ford endorsement. Awsome service

I have been using Ace Muffler for many years and have never had any problems. The guys that run the place are super friendly and do quality work, I recomend them all the time and have never had any negative feedback. If you want good old school quality this is the place to go.

There are two sides to this story

My name is chris and Im the manager and owner of Ace Muffler.Of course there are two sides to this story and will be brief to defend our shop.All customers are asked to check our work before we lower it down from the rack. to make sure they are happy with the exhaust.He(dont know there name because they for some reason they failed to list it.)checked it out,then paid and left happy.He or she claimed I hid the name ,... view moreWhen you install a muffler you dont go by were the name is you put it in the right way and sometime the name shows and sometimes it doesnt..But again he checked it out before we lowered the car down and then paid.Few months later the customer calls and wants me to send them a new muffler because theres broke.All warrantys have to be checked out to make sure that the part failed.The customer is now out of state and wasnt going to bring it in.We have been in buisness 37 years and this is the first negative letter I have ever seen about our shop.We run an honest buisness and thats why we have been around so long.Thanks,Chris

Ripping people off by selling knock off mufflers!!!

Stopped by here about 6 months ago looking for a cat-back system for my truck. They were great to deal with at the time, i made the deal with the manager/owner of the place. We worked out a price that was just what i wanted to pay (about the same as the gibson cat back i was looking at buying online) I was choosing between a flowmaster muffler and the magnaflow...he told me they would be the same price. He also was s... view moreelling the cheap generic flow-sound flowmaster knock off at a cheaper price. (they sell for $40 shipped on ebay btw and look identical) I told him i wanted the real flowmaster installed which was the same price as the magnaflow. I paid $230 for a single cat back system for my truck. It sounded great until the whole inlet of the muffler broke right off the muffler. I then realized that it wasn`t even a flowmaster muffler at all but the generic knock off brand...oh yeah they mounted it in the position where i couldn`t see the flowmaster stamp until it fell off. I called them up and sent pictures of the broken muffler and they said there was nothing they can do since i moved out of state. I just wanted a replacement muffler sent to me or a partial refund, he also stated that they are identical mufflers....i looked for myself at a local shop and the steel is about half as thick....flowmaster mufflers all have 3 year warranties and would have been covered if it was a real flowmaster!!! Thanks for the ripoff guys!!
