It`s all good!
I just got a set of new falken tires from these people. I went in thinking I was going to buy dunlops, but the guy at the counter showed me how I could get very similar falkens for more than $100 less. They had both brands in stock, but when I mentioned that I tend to push my car pretty hard, he said I might get a little more of a ""performance"" feel from the falkens. I`ve been riding of these for a week now and th... view moreey`re plenty sticky. The money I saved was really nice but I wouldn`t have known to go with these tires if he hadn`t told me. The guys were straight-up and that rocks!

Seem to be straight-shooters
I was heading back from Tahoe and got a flat. Great vacation, bad ending. I slapped on the ""donut"" spare. I don`t trust those things so I check using my iPhone and there`s a tire store at the next exit! They`re right off the freeway, and the area looked a little ""iffy"", so I was expecting to be ripped off (hey, they have you at their mercy so they can charge whatever they want to). It`s happened to me before, esp... view moreecial on gas prices. I guess some places figure ""Where`s the poor slob gonna go?""
I pulled in and the guy at the counter offered to sell me a new tire (the brand I already had) OR a used tire. The used tire was cheap, but if I didn`t trust the ""donut"", I sure wasn`t going with second-hand rubber.
The price for the new tire was actually a few dollars LESS than I paid for the original tire. That blew me away. No ""where you gonna go?"" ripoff!
The day was blistering hot so, I grabbed a cold soda from the machine in the waiting room. 20 minutes later I was driving away on four good tires with the ""donut"" back in the trunk where it belongs.
All in all, a pretty good ending to what could have been a crappy day. Thanks guys!
