Will go back
I have bought several cars from here without any problems. We had great customer service. My wife and I went here the other night not knowing what car she wanted. The salesman Lou Markovski was very patient and helpful. We had test drove 15 cars and he assured us he wanted us to be happy. Even though we have not found that car this time. I still think they deserved a good review. I would recommend carmax and Lou to m... view morey family and friends.

CARMAX- DON`T WASTE YOuR TIME OR MONEY
I purchased my 2006 Audi A3 from Carmax- Ontario, in May 2012. I was watching all the A3`s in Southern Cali for a while, before we actually purchased this one. When we (My husband, two kids and I)got to Carmax & walked the lot, we noticed that this car actually had a `SOLD` sticker on it, but we were able to test drive & purchase it none the less. Soon after the purchase, we noticed a few things that were pro... view moreblematic, like 1. The rear cupholder did not pull down (it was broken), 2. The outlets in the front middle console did not work, 3. The Engine light was constantly lit. So, of course, we called Carmax and scheduled an appointment regarding these few things. Here`s where they get you. ..they scheduled my appointment for a date AFTER my 30 days; so the `free of charge` statement no longer was applicable. The closer I got to that date, the more problems I noticed with the car. Since my initial complaint, I`ve had several other problems with this car, like 4. The brake lights turn on by themselves, 5. While pressing the gas, the car slows down 6. The inside door handles are loose. I`m thinking to myself,` Everything will be okay, I have a warranty, so everything will be replaced with no problem. WRONG!!! My car sometimes won`t even start, because the battery has been worn out from the Brake lights being on @ all hours of the night. Does Carmax care, NO! I was told that a few of the problems that I have ( that are electrical) would be covered under the warranty, but the other things will be out of pocket. Today is day #2 that they`ve had my car and said that they haven`t noticed the problem. I told them that these were problems that were going on since I purchased it from them, and that I ReFUSE to pay for any work or labor, out of pocket. When I pick my car up from them, I will let them know that I have filed a complaint with the BBB, and have contacted a lawyer. I should no be held accountable for ANY of these issues. They sold the car with these problems, and I expect them to fix it, free of charge. Why should I pay anything because they scheduled my appointment after the `30- day, free of charge` statement. Buyers, beware. . .just because it looks & sounds nice, doesn`t assure you any truth behind it.

NOT THE WAY CAR BUYING SHOULD ...
NOT THE WAY CAR BUYING SHOULD BE!!!! Lies and scandals! I WILL NEVER BUY FROM HERE AGAIN! Back in august I decided to buy myself a new ride. I wanted something that would last me a long time and would still work after I paid it off as my commuter car. I went to a few dealerships and just looked around. I was referred by my neighbor to Carmax of Ontario.(Huge mistake, SHE EVEN REGRETS IT NOW) ...My neighbor ... view morehad bought a jeep Cherokee and she loved it at first. But then even she had to take her car in and force them to fix the SAME issue with her suspension THREE times. So anyway, I ordered my car from Escondido because I wanted a Manual trans... but not a cheap one. they ordered it and was delivered within three days...2009 Honda civic with 17,000 miles on it (not to shabby for a commute car) here is my LIST OF MY ISSUES... 1.) the "Car fax" is inaccurate: I was really excited about getting a new Honda civic. i brought my car home and pull it in my driveway that night.... went to work the next day early(dark) in the morning(pattern went on for 3 days straight.) i came home early and my husband (he didn`t go with me to buy my car) was in the driveway and he points out the bottom of my front bumper.... it was not exact.... something was off... he is a mechanic and so he hops under to check it out.... it had been in a front end collision!!! Hense why my steering wheel squeaks while it turns during sharp turns like a "u-turn" *ANGRY* 2.) I was told to wait until Monday to bring it in to the service department... what do you know! my 5 day return policy is now expired!!!!! yay me....(what is service going to do about my car being in an accident anyway?) 3.) when i bought the car i was told that the "extended warranty" is bumper to bumper... he says to me" if your radio goes out, we fix it, your windows stop working, we fix it, if your seats stop sliding, we fix it, your car wont start, we fix it" so i am assuming something goes wrong with my car it will be fixed... WRONG AGAIN. 4.) The bumping/hoping my car has been doing is a real scare, I go and take it in to get looked at (because the warranty should cover this) and they call me to say nothing is wrong.... my rear tires were recently replaced because they had worn warped... I had to get on their case to ask them to actually inspect my, rack and pinion, u joints, and strut assembly before they came back with what the issue was. 5.) my car currently has 40,000 miles on it (i drive an hour to work and an hour back). i got in my car to drive to work two days ago and found my visor split at the seam... hanging down... The best part is my car always has a light weight sun guard to keep down the heat. I call up carmax and AGAIN it is NOT coverd in the warranty. 6.) i called to cancel my $3,000 warranty and i was PUT ON HOLD FOR 45 MINUTES... I hung up and called back a different department so I could be transferred... finally getting a hold of the department I needed to get a hold of(TO CANCEL MY FAKE WARRANTY.) Dont get me wrong, the lady in the business department that i spoke with was very nice and understanding. 7.)I was told there is no refinance charge if i want to refi, (which i do because their interst rates are out of control) turns out there is... just spoke with corporate... they lie to get you in... 8.)WORST ONE OF ALL! I have GREAT credit and i have paid in 8 months MORE THAN $4,400. $2,600 of that has gone strictly to finance charges... i pay around $100.00 more per month, occasionally making double payments in one month and I am constantly seeing the price owed at (or close to) $17,100.... THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE... ONCE MY CAR IS PAID OFF I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND I WILL MAKE SURE MY FRIENDS DON`T EITHER. DON`T JUDGE A BOOK BY IT`S COVER or CAR FAX for that matter

terrible appraisal driver
the appraisal who took my caravan for a test drive destroyed my front rim and told me that carmax is not responsible that this kind of things happen after hours of argument he told me his manager would call me but he never did. oscargons951@gmail.com
