Awesome!
Every time I call this place they are SO helpful. Occasionally it may take them some time to answer their phone if you call during the middle of the day because they are always so busy at that time, but otherwise they are great. I buy used tires from this place and if they don`t have them, they keep a look out for them and put my name on them when they come in. They are fast and efficient as well, even if I just walk... view more in. I would recommend this place to anyone. I`ll never go anywhere else for my tires.

Horrible Customer Service... dishonest pricing
I called Tucker Tire a week ago and got a tire quote for $1032.
My mom called back a few days ago to order the tires when she asked for the quote they told her $1100 which seemed strange to her considering all the quotes we got before were exact quotes and not rounded numbers like $1100 so she got suspicious and told them that that didn`t sound like the number she was quoted a week ago and they assured her it wa... view mores the same number.
So I called right back and mention this to them and after a short silence he tells me how there has been a price increase with the manifacturer and the price has gone up. This is not the case with any other tire retailer and they all claim their prices with the retailer have not gone up in the past week.
After calling other tire companies to try and figure out whether or not I/she was being lied to i tried calling Tucker Tire back....
now the first few times a called it took them 2-3 CALLS to answer the phone... i figured they were just busy.

I have called them 22 times now (it is still business hours) and let the phone ring all the way through yet nobody is picking up the phone. They must have caller ID :/

Definitely shady.

Customer service = Fail
Called about 10 times within the last 3 days and they finally answered the phone. A complete douche answered barely uttering a word when he clunked the phone to his ignorant face. This guy was giving quick one word answers basically trying his best to get me off the phone. I hung up and called right back. To my surprise someone picked up again. Same lousy customer service! I wanted to know my options on a new, used o... view morer retreaded tire. He quickly said ""there`s no such thing as a retread tire."" Then he spouted off on this rant laughing at the thought that I didn`t know the ins and outs of the tire game trying to make me feel inferior. Well I`m sure he`s proud of his vast knowledge of rubber, his love of meth and his last three remaining teeth but ""retread"" is in fact a process tough guy. Go to ""The Internet"", find wikipedia, type ""Retread"" with your gorilla fingers. Suck it.

Cool guys!
I just learned of these guys calling around to get a nail patched up. I live in Ladera and when calling around all the other tire shops were charging at least 20 bucks to fix it. I think Just Tires wanted $35! Anyways I called these guys and they said bring it down. It`s on my wife`s van and so she did, 10 minutes later they handed her her keys and said it`s all good! Whoa! Went down there today to get my tires r... view moreotated. 20 bucks I`m thinking. The guy hands me my keys and says ""It`s all taken care of."" I know being a minor deal but man they didn`t have to do that at all. They run a business and it takes time for them to do those things. I know it`s good business for later because if I need new tires I know where I`m going next. I`ve never bought tires from them yet but they seem to me like normal, regular guys that do tires. I`d say give em a try I think you`ll find it ""cooler"" to deal with actual people running a business rather than some corporate giant selling you stuff.

Forget Em
Forget trying to reach these people...I called em over 50 times in 2 days and they never answer their phone. A company that cannot even do certainly isn`t going to provide decent customer care once you arrive. Need a quote? Wanna make an appointment? Know your tires need to be special ordered? Forget this company...they DON`T ANSWER THEIR PHONE! That`s about the dumbest thing ny company can do...lousy economy or not.... view more There is NO EXCUSE for this. It`s just poor management. Beyond poor...it`s stupid!

Best little tire shop in town
I Have lived in Orange county since 1971. Since I have been old enough to drive I have had a passion for cars and trucks - on road and off road. I know how difficult finding a great vendor can be. Once you find an individual or business you can trust to be honest, fair and competitive you want to hang on to them for as long as possible. A friend referred me to Tucker Tire in Laguna Niguel about 15 years ago. ... view moreI have since referred many people to the business. I do compare service, price and quality. I will generally give a restaurant or business one, maybe two chances to make me remain loyal after not making the grade on some visit. Tucker Tires has always stepped up and made the visit rewarding. I have never had an unpleasant visit. They are always working their butts off and can`t even answer the phone half the time. Just go there and get in line. They are fast and very knowledgeable. Some times they were so busy I left and came back on a different day. You may want to call to make sure they have what you need in stock. The friends I have referred to them tell me similar stories about the great service received and the money saved at the business. I saw a negative review here and was very surprised. I guess there will always be unlucky days for all of us. This compelled me to write a review. I always try to deal with John Tucker, but his family and other staff are professional, competent and good. GO THERE, BUY TIRES - save money- be happy. If you would like to check whether this referral / review is valid - contact mike at linked investigations website. I will be happy to talk!

Been buying tires from them fo...
Been buying tires from them for 25 years. I have sent them at least 40 customers. They always have the best price and are quick. Everything great unless you have a problem. They recommended a set of tires for my car at over $1000.00. I just trusted them and had them installed. Turns out they were noisy to the point that I could not tolerate them on my luxury car. Basically they treated me like I was a jerk whe... view moren I asked them to do something for me. I know I didn`t save enough over the years to make up for the $1000.00 I lost by having to junk my tires with 1200 miles on them. I won`t be back

Best Prices, Honest, Fast And Courteous Service
I have been buying all of my tires from the guys at Tucker for over 13 years now. I have bought about a dozen sets of tires for the multiple cars I have owned in the last 13 or so years.. I call them up and tell them what I want, they tell me what day they will have them and I go in on that day...pretty simple. They never up charge me and I have never left there feeling like I was taken advantage of like other tir... view moree stores. On the day I go in, they tell me to pull around out back, after which I give them my keys. I then relax with some free donuts in the waiting lounge until they come get me. I pay and then go about my day. I think the haters on here would be whining no matter where they went. Tuckers is the best.

Phone?
I wouldn`t know if they are any good, because they NEVER answer their phone. How irritating!

A bunch of con artists
Before you go to this place, call in advance and make sure they have the brand that you want and get a price. Then shop around and compare this price with other tire dealers. If you show up at the place without calling, then they`ll try to sell you an unknown brand where they make the most profit. If you ask for a particular brand, they`ll have you wait for at least 5 hours while they order it and the price is not ch... view moreeap. To add insult to injury, I was quoted a particular price for this junk in-house brand of theirs and then when it was time to pay my bill, they added another $10 per tire to the quoted price.
Their customer service is condescending and sarcastic and that is being generous.
