BUYER BEWARE!!
i am going to try to keep this review short and to the point..
i bought a vehicle from these people.. it seemed to run great and was i very good cosmetic condition..
two weeks later the starter goes out.. i replace that immediately..
the VERY next day the check engine comes up..
when i take it to the mechanic the car gets worse and they give me the news that it is a BLOWN HEAD GASKET!!.. the estimate for... view more the repair is 1500 to 200 dollars!!
luckily for me (or so i thought) i had put a warranty on the vehicle, that i was told would cover this type of repair.. but when i call the claim department, it turns out that the option to cover seals and gaskets just so happens to have not been checked, even though i had specifically asked to cover the gasket and seals on the engine.. and if it had even been checked, i could not make a claim for 90 days after enrolling.. WHAT BS!!!
i call the dealership and tell them what had happened and of course they deny that i had asked for the gasket and seals option on the warranty, which happened to be the main reason i wanted it in the first place..
needless to say i`m furious at this point and to top it all off, the mechanics check the radiator fluid and it is all full of rust.. no one had checked the coolant in the radiator for probably years!! so needless to say that RN AUTO DOES NOT SRVICE THEIR CARS BEFORE SELLING THEM..
it is even further needless to say that this negligence from their part is what probably caused the gaskets to blow just TWO WEEKS after i drove it off the lot..
i had only put around 200 miles in a two week timeframe so i am very confident it was not any negligence or lack of maintenance from my part.. i had seriously driven it around 8 times overall in those two week before it started to act up so whatever happen was due to a problem that was already there..
these people obviously don`t check their vehicles before reselling them to the public so BUYER BEWARE!!
save yourself a couple of thousand dollars and stay away from these people..
oh and by the way, after i told the dealership that the head gasket was blown they told me they have a very good mechanic that can fix it for a discount price and they would give me the down payment on the warranty back to help pay for it..
pretty convenient in my opinion..
so once again, BUYER BEWARE!!
