On the contrary, I had my car towed there a few years ago, same thing, wouldn`t start... and they recommended I send it to the dealer because it was still under warranty.. I did and they charged me nothing. I`ve had good service from this place for more than ten years.

Bad Experience

Problem was, car wouldn`t start.

First thing they did..tried to charge me $141 for a complete diagnostic.

Then, they said I needed a new alternator. The mechanic was extremely pushy, total ""I`m right you`re wrong"" attitude. Also, quite difficult to understand.

I waited to hear from the owner, who never called. Apparently he`s not available after 2 pm. Must be nice.

A day later, I get hi... view morem on the phone and he offers to reduce the diagnostic fee but my rip off radar was in full effect, so I decided to take the car to a mechanic I know better.

I was charged $78 to get my car off Carl and Dan`s lot.

My regular mechanic changed the battery and no alternator was needed.

In my opinion,. they tried to do a job that was not needed and charged me for a diagnostic that was not needed.

All I needed was a new battery.

So, I am out $78. For nothing but grief.
