Great service and affordable.....

Great service and affordable...My car stalled the other day and I needed to tow it to the shop. Called around and they were by far the lowest price to begin with, about $20 cheaper. Beat other towing services that were right down the block from where i was stranded... mad props on that! Guy shows up greeted him "How`s it going?" he responded "better then you I see"... but I appreciate the comedy a... view morend he was really friendly. Good experience so my car was in good hands. I have used R & R for the gene...

I have used R & R for the general maintenance to my car ?‚ for years and have never been disappointed. The shop is small and unassuming and is on Fairmont near the El Cerrito Plaza. All of their employees are courteous, honest and keep my car happily running. In the past, I have gone to those speedy type old change places and often experienced "warnings " that I "urgently needed" this or that r... view moreepair and they were willing to do the repairs for me right then and there. On some of the occasions, I immediately drove my car to R & R and they advised me that my car was fine and that I did not have a problem at all. Once you find an honest, reliable repair shop that does not overcharge you and does not do unnecessary repairs, hold onto them with both hands.

Took my car in to be smogged. The price was very reasonable compared to the vast majority of smog shops that want $88- give me a break! Mr Randhawa, the proprietor, got me in and out in less than 20 minutes, and did a quick inspection of my fluid levels to let me know some of the maintenance I may be needing shortly. Great service. Great price!

I had originally brought my Ho...

I had originally brought my Honda to the dealership. Not only was that pretty far away and a hassle, but someone stole my headphones out of the car. Which brings me here. The owner is honest, polite, funny, and fast. Plus, they`re right around the corner from me. I`ve used them for everything from fixing a flat and oil change to replacing the struts. Go there! You won`t regret it!

One word: Awesome! Ravi just s...

One word: Awesome! Ravi just saved me $360 bucks by replacing the front struts on our 2007 Toyota Siena for $531 instead of the dealer quote of $891. Full disclosure; $75 of the savings come from Ravi noticing that the struts have only one screw and therefore nothing much can change about alignment, so the general rule "change struts, re-align" doesn`t hold for this car. Especially since my tires are almost... view more done, he recommended to do the alignment when I do replace the tires in the next few miles. Ravi is also a very nice guy, very personable and he did exactly what he promised; car was in at ~11:30 on a busy Saturday. He said it would be ready between 5:00 and 6:00 and he`d call me. He called at 5:05 :-). I was so impressed I also brought in my `95 corolla for an oil change. That cost $39.50.This didn`t strike me as particularly cheap, but again, he did it within the promised 15 minutes. Way to go, Ravi!
