The worst shop I`ve ever dealt...

The worst shop I`ve ever dealt with. Beware of the owner, he`s just going to find expensive repair items that really don`t need repair (Yes I`m taking this guy to court). Not only did they charge double for work that wasn`t needed (Where`s Chris Hanson from MSNBC when you need him) something which I verified with a 3rd party repair shop (For example, charged for removing the fuel tank and the fuel sensor both of whic... view moreh come out together), but they wouldn`t check the sending unit after repairing it (the Fuel Gage wouldn`t read full any more which they claimed was instrumentation, but I verified again with a 3rd party shop that in fact it was the sending unit German Car Specialists supposedly repaired). I don`t like writing negatively about people, and am a champion for small business causes, but when I experience a rip off artist that costs me thousands, I will be a force to be reckoned with. Watch your backs with this one guys.

As a shop owner

On alternators their is a "core" value to the unit. If it is not returned to the manufacturer the core value is charged to the auto shop. That cost is of course passed on to the customer if the old part is requested. $80.00 is an average core value and I would not consider this overcharging by anymeans. Most customers dont understand or believe this charge, but it is true!
