Engine light won`t shut off

Took my vehicle in for an oil change. It took over 30 minutes. They removed air filter and told me I need a new one. I told them it looked fine to me. They failed to replace air filter properly. Now my engine light stays on. I`ve used Jiffy Lube in the past, I should have know better. Now I have no idea what the cost will be to check the engine.
