My Service Experience

My car needed brakes and rotors badly. I went to several places trying to get a descent price for the services needed. I finally ended up at Brake Masters and I am so glad I kept looking. The level of service they offered was by far hands down the best I encountered. The price they quoted me for my brakes was exactly what they charged me no hidden fees. They even took it a step further since I did not have all t... view morehe money to pay for both the brake and rotor job they gave me a 90 day written guarantee that if I brought the car back within that time frame they would give me the original price originally quoted. I brought the car in a week later and they did honor the original combined price. They are also very quick and courteous with their services. I cannot say enough about how great it is to find quality and service all done with a smile these days. These guys have just got a lifetime customer.

Attempted rip-off

I went in looking for an alignment for my truck which I had recently installed a new front suspension on. When I told him this, he asked if it was lifted, which it may have been, roughly 1". He said they could not guarantee the work because it was no longer a stock vehicle to which I thought was odd but said ok as "this was the way it was all over". He said it would take 5-10 minutes to pull in and ... view morethen 30-45 to do the work. I waited in the front office until they pulled it in about 20 minutes later. I heard my truck start and they pulled it off 5 minutes later. He came in, said it was complete and that it would be $70. I thought that was odd, and asked for the printout of the before and after numbers. He said no problem and continued ringing me up. He then handed me my paperwork, without the readout. I asked again, he said sure, let me go get it. He came back a few minutes later and told me that there was a mixup and the tech had never done the alignment, they couldn?ˆ™t get the machine to attach to my stock rims and slightly oversized tires. How he didn`t realize that an alignment doesn?ˆ™t take 5 minutes is beyond me. I told him i had thought it hadn?ˆ™t taken long enough, and he said, "Well it usually doesn?ˆ™t take long anyway" after telling me it would take 30-45 minutes. He called someone at a higher office to get me a refund and I was on my way with no alignment and hopefully all of my money. I called a shop today and asked about getting mine done, despite the lift and tire situation and he said no problem, we`ll give you a 6 month warranty on it too. I had a normal experience with the brake masters in Pomona, where they voluntarily gave me the adjustment readout without me asking, too bad this shop is not up to par...

Overpriced Place!

I have taken my car here twice, only becuase the first time they messed up my brakes and despite the life time breaks warranty they still charged me the labor to fix them the second time around. They also wanted to complete all this extra work on my car that was really unnecessary since I had just gotten a complete tune up at the dealership. I will never go here again. Trustworthy

Brakemasters has the friendliest service technicians and do excellent work. It`s not very often that I find mechanics that are trustworthy, but these guys are the greatest. How many mechanics can you ask to fix what ever they find wrong and trust that they will ONLY fix what is actually wrong without doing a lot of unnecessary work? I highly recommend them.

Off 2 a bad start

It always concerns me when a business phone offers no recording during non-business hours. The business should put their address, & their hours of operation. Be there when advertised
