After receiving permission to park my truck on their huge parking lot for one day only I came back at my promised time only to find my truck gone. The owner of Seaforth Seafoods in Mission Beach, Mario, took it upon himself to have it towed without even talking to his employees working at the Dive Shop he also owned. The five people I had spoken with yesterday apparently were too afraid to speak to Mario or unawa... view morerea of each others actions. So after specifically getting permission as to where I could park and the time it could be parked I have now found out the Western Towing is charging me $352 for a tow of seven miles less then 24 hours ago. In addition all my tools are inside the camper shell and I just paid to have engine overhauled plus new battery and alternator. This loss is devestaing to myself as my father passed yesterday at 93. He is a Pearl Harbor survivor whose plaque is atop Mt. Soledad War Memorial. To highlight being ripped off and lied too my cell phone carrier, Cricket, decided to ignore my credit card payment made the night before and instead applied it to next months automatic bill pay neglecting to pay this months bill so I woke up early only to find my phone service cut off. I tried to explain this to a ""SANTO"" i spoke with who treated me with distain and disrespect forcing me to repeat the same actions again. My father was carried away 20 minutes before I got there meaing I wil never see him again and because my phone was illegally shut off I had no way of communication with my family. $400 for less than one day and less than 10 miles of travel. WESTERN TOWING IS A TIME HONORED RIP-OFF TO THE AMERICAN PUBLIC!!!!!!!!!!!

They think they Gods

they towed my car in my parking spot becuse my perment was expired. The perment had my info. so the can at least nock on my door or give me a call and they didnt. I guess they dont believe in KARMA. Now a have to pay 317.00 dollars. When a talk to the lady she was so rude.(crappy customer services) I miss a day of work bacause of them. Thanks a lot i will keep you guys in my prayers!!!

Crappiest customer service.

If there were negative stars available, Western Towing would get a -10. My car was towed by them and in their posession for less than 1 hour. It cost me $323 to get it back. Worse than that, they damaged my driver`s side door while getting in to release the emergency brake. I have been calling every day for almost 2 weeks to discuss the damage with no returned call. Pretty much stole my car!!!!

This weekend I parked at an apt where I was staying overnight. I saw Western`s truck and the person who ordered the tows. I talked to them both and stated which spot I was in. I asked if I was ok there and they said yes. They towed me 10 min later! When I tried to get info of who ordered the tow they refused. I love to egg these people

they are predictors so every time i see them i egg their tow trucks, now they stopped parking there trucks around town and walking, so now they have two people go with them, means they don`t make as much, do what ever you can to hurt these bastards. Always have eggs in my fridge just for these people

HORRIBLE

They towed my car from my parking spot in my gated garage at my residence. They would not release any information about who had towed my car and admitted that the person who had it towed had no proof that it was their parking spot, just that they are a resident of the building. Exceeded Expectations

These folks towed my motorcycle after a small accident. When I tried to get in touch, I left a voicemail that was not immediately returned.

I sent an email to them, and got a very prompt reply. Not only did I get a fast resolution, I got a GENEROUS deal as a way to apologize for my inconvenience.

Victimized by Western?

Have you been towed from your parking lot by these predators? What people don`t realize is that companies like this often tow vehicles illegally, and as a result, it is usually easy to fight it. Here`s what to do if you are victimized by these thieves: 1) CALL THE POLICE!!! a) Tell them your car was stolen; they will tell you where your car is. b) Ask them what time your car was towed and why. The tow... view more company must call within an hour of stealing your car. c) Also, ask for a copy of the report at the local police station. 2) WHEN PICKING UP YOUR CAR: a) Ask if the owner of the parking spot/property, the property manager, or an HOA representative was present & get his/her full name. That way, if you need to sue them in small claims, you will know who to subpoena as a witness. One of these people must be present when they take your car***. ***The exception is if you are in a Fire Lane or blocking an entrance, in which case ask for a picture, they must have one, and do not accept photocopies! If they refuse, refer to item b). Note: They usually steal it in the middle of the night, so it is easy to prove that nobody was there. b) If they do not provide the name to you, CALL THE POLICE and tell them you are being denied access to your car. After they arrive, pay with a credit card and later ask the police for a copy of the report for documentation. 3) DO NOT PAY CASH!!! Pay the ransom with a credit card: a) Then dispute the charges with your bank. Tell your bank the charge was not authorized and ask them to conduct a fraud investigation. Most banks apply a credit to your account while they investigate. Try and sign it using a different signature, this will further help your dispute. Also, dispute it online and do not answer any phone calls from the bank, make them do the work! b) If the dispute doesn`t work OR if you prefer, dispute it and tell them you were overcharged and agree to pay the base towing fee (minus impound, storage and other nefarious charges). Often times banks will side with customers rather than shady merchants on overcharging. 4) If all else fails: SUE THEM! If you need help, ask a small claims advisor. If they fail to appear in court, you win by forfeit!!! AND many times it is not worth it for them to retrieve a few hundred dollars. They would rather spend their time stealing more cars. Make sure to include all documentation proving your case, and subpoena your HOA reps/apartment manager/property owners. Include all other costs incurred (lost wages for missing work that day, cab fare to the impound lot, etc.) FINALLY: If you really want to help fight back, start a petition and have all the tenants in your complex sign a request for a new service provider (towing company) after their contract expires. This works well with HOA?ˆ™s, who are elected to their positions, and sometimes many property owners are actually unaware of these predatory practices. If everybody did the above, rather than just pay the fees and move on, these companies would probably stop doing this. Good Luck! Together we can defeat predatory towing practices!!!

The Review

Western towing provided me with their outstanding service in the attempt to tow away my vehicle while I was in the process of unloading it!!!!! They worked side by side with a couple Security gards from WRM Security, they followed me to my house and while I was unloading my vehicle, they were so kind to hook up their tow truck to the vehicle. The Western Tow Truck driver kindly informed me that he would be happy to unhook my vehicle from his truck for just a small fee. His friends from WRM Security were just as pleasant. When I asked they if they were serious, they assured me they were. The companies work together as a team and do a great job in earning their profits. They also informed me that they sleep well every night with this, I applaud them for their ability to do so because not everyone would be able to do that. WORSE TOWING COMPANY EVER!!!!! UNRELIABLE!!!!!!

THIS IS THE WORST TOWING COMPANY EVER. EVERYONE I SPOKE WITH WAS RUDE AND INCONSIDERATE. THEY OFFERED VIRTUALLY NO ASSISTANCE. IT WAS BAD ENOUGH THAT I WAS ALREADY FRUSTRATED FROM THE SITUATION AT HAND BUT THEY MADE IT EVEN WORSE. THEY GAVE ME INCORRECT INFORMATION. THEY TOLD ME THEY WOULD CALL AND NEVER DID.
