Very Disappointed
No Integrity Here!---Stay away from this place.
I brought my Camry into Sid?s El Cajon with extensive front end damage. My car had been side swiped, literally taking off the front end, bumper, grill, headlights and more; what a mess. The bumper had pushed the frame outward causing a huge buckle there.
So the car was diagnosed with parts and labor for what needed to be done, this including 2.5 hrs. of frame wor... view morek and an alignment. Bob Lemon lifted the hood and showed me where the frame had been bent.
Okay, so the job takes forever, all I hear is tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow, we?re waiting for a part, this, that and everything under the sun. At least three times in our conversation I ask Bob about the alignment, Bob, do you think it will hold? What if it doesn?t, can I bring the car back and have it rechecked? Bob assures me that that won?t be a problem, bring the car back, and we will do the recheck.
Three months later, I?m in need of tires; because of rotation, all of the tires are wearing on the inside(all four). I call Bob and he?s not there, he now works at the other El Cajon store and the new guy knew nothing of my situation? He also tells me there was no indication that an alignment was ever done. You have to be kidding me? And no frame work either, nothing on the invoice? Whow, is this criminal?
I get a hold of Bob, send him an email of my car with a picture so he would remember, he promises to check into it and call me Monday, but never does. What a scam artist!
Do I chance it and have them do the alignment? I don?t think so. With their track record I could be worse off leaving it with them again.
Very Disappointed, don?t make the same mistake.
