California Automotive - THEY CARE!!

Upon returning from the market today I turned the key in my ignition and the sound you never want to hear occurred...that of a dead battery. I was about 3 miles away from California Automotive in Los Altos but took a chance on calling Al & Amanda. First Amanda arrives with cables to jump me when to her dismay it did indeed require a new battery. She returned to the shop to take care of the other customers while Al... view more returned with a new battery and proceeded to install it in my car. Less than 5-minutes later my car was running again. Inspite of the fact Al had a full day of appointments in front of him he took the time to take care of a customer in distress, and I am so grateful he did. What else is there to say when one puts people ahead of profits? Ironically, I was in a shopping center with a full service station. When I initially walked over to inquire about some assistance with my dead battery I was told ... `Everyone was at lunch and there was nobody available to help.` This statement made as the attendant never looked up while eating his lunch. Suffice to say, California Automotive is now on speed dial on my mobile phone - and it should be on yours as well!
