unhappy
There is only one guy at this shop. He took about 4 months to fix my transmission. It broke again after only a few months. He took it back again under the warranty, but has now had my vehicle over 6 months and says he can`t finish fixing it correctly because he cannot get parts. He still has it. He does not return any phone calls, and I have had to drive out there to get updates. The updates are that he is just waiti... view moreng for parts or that the wrong part came in. I do not reccommend this place.

Thank you!
You hear about how most shops try to scam you on things and so you try to be very careful where you bring your car. One day after coming back from a long drive I noticed there was something wrong with my transmission. I first took it to a BIG name chain transmission shop but you hear all these horror stories so as soon as I heard what I needed to hear I was like I out of here. I use to always see this shop on San ... view moreAntonio Rd. so I said heck I`ll try them out. It` s a descent looking shop I thought but boy was I blown away by the customer service from this guy. Eddie the owner was a very knowledgable guy. He was very thorough and pleasant to deal with. You an tell he wasn`t trying to hussle an extra dollar here and there. He told me what NEEDED to be fixed and what REALLY didn`t need to be fixed. I was impressed. Finally a repair shop I can trust. Makes it even better that they do all around work. So from now on I`m a customer for life. Sometimes it may take a day ot two longer then expected but definetly reliable work and worth the wait.

Trustworthy and on time and VERY GOOD PRICE . . .honest, mellow, worth it
Ever get towed to an unknown garage? I did and I lucked out. A friend had try to fix my daughter`s transmission (to the best of his abilities and way over mine) but it died on the road while I was driving it. I`d heard the Aamco horror stories before so I took a chance and had my daughter`s car dropped at night to this spot I`d seen on San Antonio, around the corner from my apt.
The next morning, I called ... view moreat 8:00AM, 9AM, 10AM. I drove over there, introduced myself and my car. ""Traffic was terible this morning,"" he says. I saw that he had WAY too many cars in the garage --""I got more in back"" he says. I thought for sure, if I could afford it, and if he could fix it, it would be forever-and she was coming home from school like, the following week. He says, let me take a look at it, I`ll call you tonight. The next morning he called and said ""Probably about $150 --it`ll take two days to get the part."" ""Yeah right"" I thought. In two days and for exactly $150 (which in transmission-talk is like nothing) later , my daughter`s bmw is better than ever. I mean like performance shifting AND very mellow for her to drive too.
Later he fixed my other daughter`s Jetta`s clutch petal--a problem that vexes mechanic`s and Jetta forum members.
Recommended without reservation. He gets busy-but must work late nights or something because there`s a lot of cars that go through there. Worth waiting for if necessary.
