The "out the door" price when I arrived was almost $40.00 higher (for one tire) than than the one I was quoted on the phone, but they were pleasant, the waiting room was clean, and they could get me out in 90 minutes. I agreed to the work. Almost two hours later, my tire was still on its way from the warehouse, but would be there in 30 minutes. Since this was the third time I was told my tire would arr... view moreive in 30 minutes, I gave up and asked for my keys back so I could return to work where a client was waiting for me. Before returning my keys they took my credit card and processed the tire sale. Then they insisted I sign to say they installed the non-existant tire. I refused. They wanted to keep my damaged tire to guarantee I would return. I demanded my keys and they still stalled. When I called my law office and began asking my paralegal to prepare a complaint against Scher Tire, I was taken out of the waiting room and away from other customers before reluctantly being given my keys. I wasted two hours (which I had to make up on Saturday) and I wonder how they would treat other customers who don`t have easy access to the Courts.

5/18/2011 My car had been leak...

5/18/2011 My car had been leaking fumes but on this morning I had a puddle of gas under the car. I took it to Goodyear because it is a 1/2 mile away and I have taken other cars there previously. The manager, Doug, was very professional and helpful. I received a call later that evening with the explanation that i had two injectors leaking and it will cost $200.00 a piece. The car was ready by Thursday night and the bi... view morell came up to $670.00.5/20/2011 I pulled the car out of my driveway and noticed the same gas puddle.. same spot. So now i`m doubting I needed the injectors at all. 5/21/2011 Again I drove the car to Goodyear on Saturday and they inspected the leak. Doug stated that they needed to replace a washer on the 3rd injector. I still had doubts about the service but was glad the car did not catch on fire. I received the car back on the night of 5/25/2011. I drove to work on 5/27/2011 noticing my oil light flickering on and off. Next I noticed that I could not go pass 70mph. 5 minutes later I hear the engine knocking. I soon as I heard it i knew immediately what happen! I threw a rod. I towed back to good year the same morning and I called the customer service number and left a message for Chris. Chris finally returned my call and stated he spoken to the shop. Their was a rock punctured the oil pan. That was their reason for the car not having oil. I called down to the shop and they said that I needed another engine and that it would cost $3600

WOW

Just a wow experience .....i thought that i had a good shop, but decided to try a great colorful add i got for an oil change and i went into moreno valley Scher Tire . I was able to get my car right in and they had a very clean store .. i will return for more work..Also a note that i looked at there pricing and i was shocked to see i was being overcharged at other shop...
