very nice guy

We called up a random place to see about selling our car. We just had a price that we were hoping for. Joe told us the price ranges which is what we wanted. He came on a Saturday an hour after we called. Looked at the car and gave us the price he quoted. Which is what we wanted. 10:30 - Called Can-Am Salvage. 11:15 - Joe from Can-Am arrived, took a few minutes to look over the car, and made a very reasonable offer. 11:30 - Had a check in our hands and a broken-down car off our hands! What I learned about selling m...

What I learned about selling my car to a junk yard is that very few of the local yards are legitimate. They are either brokers (not even located in calif), or self-service yards( big multi-location yards with no customer service skills). When I called Can-Am I spoke to the guys there and they quoted me a fair price on my vehicle (99 Corolla) and were at my house within an hour.. These are local businessmen! Very easy and Pleasant transac...

Very easy and Pleasant transaction. Call them and came in one hour, 5 minutes later I got money for my car, parked my car outside and they towed it within few hours. I called another place before Can-Am and it was horrible, the guy wanted my car but wanted to bargain so called me every hour to raise the $.
