I have taken many cars to Mr. Gustavo Gonzalez, and he has never let me down. He is an honest mechanic, and does quality work. He provides great customer service and good quality work. I have always and will always take any car work i need to him. I have recommended my friends to go to him and they all agree on the great service. If there ever is a problem he handles it and he is not satisfied until the costumer is. ... view moreHighly recommended .

Replaced truck door - awful job
Lemon Grove Car Wash damaged my truck door and sent my truck to Pro Mex Automotive - I wanted to go to Ford but they insisted Pro Mex does Excellent work - They lied. Pro Mex replaced my door with a bent one scratched up one. The paint did not match Ford`s Oxford White, they painted over `gouges`, scratches, chips, sanding dust, and left a lot of runs. I took it back 2 more times to get them to fix it (showing it ... view moreto the Car Wash each time) - each time it was only slightly better if at all.
Lemon Grove Car Wash told me to take it to Ford to get it fixed (Ford did a great job) but then I had to sue Lemon Grove Car Wash and Pro Mex Automotive to get them to pay me for the repairs (I charged them). Both Lemon Grove Car Wash and Pro Mex Automotive lied in court but I still won.
Note, Pro Mex Automotive owner, Gustavo Gonzalez, told the Judge that he was in charge of Quality Control and that when I had showed him the poor work Pro Mex had done on my truck he told his workers that this was a `picky` customer. Also, Mr Gonzalez told the judge that I had never told anyone of his staff that there were any problems. That`s far from the truth as each time I picked my truck up I would show the `kid` the problems they did not fix and there was a lot to fix.

Horrible Paint service
I had my vehicle painted by PRO MEX, and 2 weeks later the paint started flaking off. I was charged close to $1,000 for a paint job that lasted less than 2 weeks! Very angry with Pro Mex, they took 5 days later then they said, and still can`t do a job right, if you get a quote from Pro Mex, RUN! They say they have warranty, but they use the same cheap paint again, it will just flake off again.
