New firestone brake pads/rotor...
New firestone brake pads/rotors, (from Woodland Hills, Firestone), after 100 miles start to squeal and grind....I give 5 stars to Manager Daniel, in Orange, who rescues my issue from one of his mechanics (1 star) who insists, ``Regrinding the rotors is the only way to stop the squeal and grind.... due to poor driving habits. You got to start PUMPING YOUR BRAKES when coming to a stop.".....I pause to ponder this ... view morecluelessness.....then interject, "I must welcome you.. to even the 20th century... you NEVER pump ABS brakes!`` Fortunately, Manager Daniel (5 stars) steps in and determines the brake pads are cracked...as in defective...and, to his credit, replaces all four pads free of charge...jeeeeez....
