Best in OC!
We are truly shocked and saddened by the review below that was written about our shop. We pride ourselves on caring about our customers and are extremely passionate about Porsche. We are a Porsche only shop and have been in business for 40 years. We have been Factory trained by Porsche and always take the extra steps to ensure that every job is done properly. After 40 years in business and hundreds of positive revie... view morews, we have received our first negative one. The review stated that the customer had spent $2,000.00 to have a coolant leak fixed and that it was not fixed properly. We went back to the invoice to review what was done to the vehicle. We removed the transmission and installed a clutch in the 997, replaced the rear main seal, extracted the IMS bearing out of the engine and installed a ceramic coated bearing and finally installed new tires on the vehicle. These are the parts that added up to $2,000.00, not a coolant leak. We did replace a flange gasket that was leaking, but did not charge for doing it. The vehicle had coolant leaks before coming to our shop and we noted on the invoice that a past shop had used JB weld to fix coolant leaks. We even stated on the invoice that Coolant leaks in 997?ˆ™s are extremely important issues and we need to monitor the system to make sure it is working properly. The vehicle was brought back to our shop six months later and the customer said it was leaking coolant. We drove the car over 100 miles and kept putting the vehicle on the rack to check for leaks. The customer refused to communicate any of the symptoms or location, but simply kept saying it is leaking. After 8 hours and 3 days of driving the vehicle in almost every scenario possible, we could not get the vehicle to leak coolant. We checked the flange gasket that we had changed and it was bone dry. We even checked where the previous shop put JB weld and there were no leaks present. We also checked all our previous work and everything was perfect. If the vehicle is leaking somewhere, then by all means, let?ˆ™s fix it. Coolant leaks in 997?ˆ™s cause cracked heads. We would rather fix a $20 leak, then have the customer spend $20,000 on a new engine. We love to fix and solve problems here. We had a lot of trouble trying to communicate to the customer that we could not get the vehicle to leak coolant. We were not insinuating anything about the customer in any way, but rather for some reason the vehicle is not right leaking now. If any of the hundreds of our customers, from around the country, want to comment on this situation and speak for the character of Bill Brewster Automotive, please feel free to do so.
Thank You Scott Brewster.

Horrible HORRIBLE
HORRIBLE SERVICE. MAJOR RIP OFF!!! I brought my car back twice & the second time they told me nothing was wrong with it although I had proof it was leaking all over my garage! They are all smiles taking your money but when the problem wasn`t resolved, rude & insulting. DON`T GO THERE- I`ll be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. I lost over $2000.00 in the process! I`m a biz owner & I`ve never had to write a... view more negative review... I was RIPPED OFF!
