SLOPPY, INCOMPLETE AUTO REPAIR
want to inform you that Precise Auto Body mechanic, Harry, came to pick me up using my car from my residence around 420pm yesterday, November 28 to take me to their office to release the Audi to me. Right when I entered the car on the passenger side, I noticed a 4 inch crack on the top, right of windshield. THEY MISSED TO CHANGE THE WINDSHIELD!
I took the ride back to Precise Auto Body to show the manager, M... view moreike Keshishian. I asked for the car to stay in their shop but he said they do not attach windshields in their facility so I would have to take the car and they would arrange for someone to replace it at my home or wherever I work. The earliest appointment I am available is on Tuesday, December 1 so that is when he said he would arrange on Monday.
Upon closer inspection that evening, I noticed the coolant container was empty. I now question if they even inspected that function. The plastic part underneath the car (near the left rear tire) have scratches, is very loose and I am able to move it 3 inches from side to side. (This part may have been damaged during transport/towing.) The small mud flap on the right front of the car is missing. Now I`m thinking, what nut or bolt is missing from the essential parts of the car? I called Precise Auto Body but the shop was already closed and there is no voicemail available. I was however assured by Mike when I picked up the car that if there were any problems after I have taken the car, he would have it taken care of and will be backed by Mercury Insurance.
When I went back on the next business day, Mike told me the plastic part near the rear left tire probably got damaged from the towing and said they didn`t have to fix it because it was not from the accident and that the other side was loose too so it was normal. WHAT THE HECK!Any loose part in a car would mean it`s broken! duh! An older, shorter man with a thick accent tried to explain to me some weird analogy. ""For example, you are working and then you don`t see something, so you don`t do it!"" was his explanation why the car is not fully fixed. He was getting upset with me for complaining so I got upset. He was talking to me as if it was my fault they they didn`t completely do their job. They did not know.... all the multiple problems I pointed out. Then he said, ""the next time you have a car accident, don`t come here!""
Funny thing is it was Chris, the owner, who pushed me to have my car fixed there. Now I regret it.
