I do not know very much about cars and since I recently moved to California I did not know of any reliable shops to go to. Meritage Auto Repair is the BEST!!!

I`ve been going to Meritage Auto Repair for a few years now. Ray Makari is just incredible. I took my SUV to Ray when the timing belt broke... it pretty much ruined the top end of the car. He quoted me a great price and then helped by giving me advice and assistance when I decided to do the work myself to save money. I take my wife`s Mazda there for everything. My father now goes to Meritage Auto Repair since I`ve had such a great experience every time. Takes his Toyota Prius as Ray at Meritage Auto Repair is factory certified (the only mechanic factory certified in Auburn, CA) by Toyota (and Ford) on their HYBRIDS. For a very professional and very personable experience with your automobile maintenance and repair, I HIGHLY recommend Ray Makari and Meritage Auto Repair. In a word: Awesome!

Meritage`s owner, Ray, is amazing. I`ve taken two different cars to him, one that was new and everything was covered under warranty and the other is old and I just want to keep it running until I finish grad school. He`s proactive when it`s called for, making sure everything is perfect. I`ve learned recently that he can also be a creative problem solver, prioritizing safety and reliability in the name of saving his c... view moreustomers` money. My 1993 Accord wiring system made a hungry rat very happy. Ray told me I could spend $2,500 getting it all repaired, good as new, or he could connect the tail-lights to the headlights so that they would come on together instead of having separate settings. For this he charged me an hour of labor. This kind of honesty and ingenuity are rare and refreshing. I have suggested his services to my parents and to my sister and they`ve been equally impressed. His walls are covered with certificates that show he has the most up-to-date training on myriad makes of cars. It`s not often I find a business that I`m impressed with. It seems like most people just go through the motions when it comes to customer service. Meritage is a huge exception!

Outstanding!

Ray and his auto repair shop were outstanding on their professional service and attention to details to my Ford Explorer Sport Trac truck. Good Work

I recently moved to Auburn from the Bay Area and found Meritage to be a place that I will return to. Even though the work was only a Smog they made a good first impression. The shop and office were clean. well lit and display a number of certification for the technicans. They have two ASE certified Master Technicans which means they should be very good problem solvers and truely take their profession seriously.
