HIT AND RUN!!!!

Reading all these good reviews, I wish I had something nice to say about this place. I guess since I`m not a customer they feel free to be completely disrespectful and beyond shady. One of their drivers sideswiped my car with my baby daughter in the backseat. He pulled over and got out to look at the damage and said ""pffft, that`s nothing"". I was livid. I told him if it was nothing, he could pay the $500 to fi... view morex the damage. At that, he started heading back to his truck. I asked him for his information and he said he didn`t have any. Then he got in his car and drove away. That`s called HIT AND RUN. I got a picture of the driver, Vicente, holding his hand in front of his face. But from that picture, I was able to discern the tow company, and immediately called my husband who called the manager. The manager, George, told us to come in, but since we were on our way to take our kids on a San Diego vacation, George told us we could come in on Wednesday and he would take care of it. BIG mistake. When we came in on Wednesday, all evidence had been removed, and no help was given at all. I was even called a liar in front of everybody by the driver, Vicente. I was floored. Unfortunately it was my fault for believing that the manager would be honest and take care of it like he had promised. I should have called the police right there and then. But on top of not doing a thing to help me, there was no apology. There was only absolute rudeness. I am a professional, working mother of two. I have NO time to be running around falsely accusing tow truck drivers of hitting my car for my own benefit. I wish this had never happened, but lesson learned - get the authorities involved immediately. And just be on the lookout for Community Auto Service drivers. Because if they hit you, you`re screwed.

DANGEROUSLY SHODDY WORK!!

DANGEROUSLY SHODDY WORK!! My gf and I were looking for somewhere to take her KIA other than the dealer. Yelp guided us to CAS and they had great reviews so that`s where we went. Now I`m beginning to feel like all their reviews are from themselves. When we got there it became apparent that AAA tow drivers recommend the place BECAUSE THEY DISPATCH OUT OF THEIR OFFICE. It`s just easier for them. And a total s... view moreham. We thought we might have a transmission problem. They said there was no problem but we needed rear brakes. OK, so we did the brakes. Two days later the BRAKES FELL OFF THE CAR WHILE SHE WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY!!! Damn near killing my girlfriend. I immediately called the place, so they could have the car towed back to the shop, but it was Saturday afternoon and they said no one was available to help and ALL THOSE AAA DRIVERS SITTING AROUND couldn`t pick up the car without approval from ""Pattie"", the office manager. They called her and she didn`t answer. I called so many times, they eventually gave me Pattie`s # so I could call her myself. FOR 2 DAYS my calls went unanswered while my gf car sat in an Econo-lube parking lot an hour away with no brakes. Finally I got PATTIE on the phone the FOLLOWING MONDAY MORNING while she STILL DIDN`T RETURN MY CALLS. They FINALLY sent a tow-truck, checked their work and repaired the LIFE-THREATENINGLY SHODDY WORK they did. But now the brakes make a squeaking noise the never made before and I`ll be damned if I`m taking it back to these HUCKSTERS. DON`T BELIEVE THE HYPE. They CANNOT be trusted with even a simple break job.
