If You Value Your Car, Don`t Take It Here for Service
After Beverly Hills Audi service closed its doors, I took my car to Downtown LA Audi for service, and have regretted it ever since. If you value your car, don`t take it here. Why? First, they allegedly gave my car an annual service, and supposedly filled it up with oil, but after less a year since my service, and having driven my car for only 2,500 miles and no leaks, it`s out of oil!!! NEVER before have I gotten... view more this service light on my car. The only conclusion I can draw is that they never filled the car with oil like they claimed. Second, they failed to properly attach a part on my car (I`m not technically savvy, so I don`t remember the name of it), but because of this, it fell into my air conditioning unit and broke it! So I had to take the car to Rusnak in Pasadena to get it fixed, which, if I didn`t have my Easy Care warranty, would`ve cost me over a $1,000. Bottom line, the service representative/advisor at Audi LA was very personable, but the facts show that the actual service was lousy (and worse, expensive based on what I had to pay to fix their bad service). I`m definitely never taking my car there again. I work less than a mile from Downtown LA Audi, but I`m going 15 miles out of my way to take it to Rusnak Pasadena from now on.
PS while I was at Rusnak, another customer was there and I heard him complaining about Downtown LA Audi too. He took his car there to get the tires replaced and they damaged the wheels when they did it!

Downtown Porsche will take you down
These guys take the whole car salesman routine to a whole new level. I`ve experienced nothing but lies and a few instances of sub-standard service.
I bought a CPO Cayenne S here a few years ago. They assured me that the car had never been in an accident. I`ve since learned it was.
When I took the car in for a warranty check-up, they didn`t catch two serious and costly issues that have since cost more than $4K (j... view moreust a month after the warranty expires and weeks after the ""service"". The symptoms were there, but clearly they avoided doing the work.
They did manage to determine that the car needed new brakes and rotors though. Thankfully, I took it elsewhere for a second opinion. And guess what? The brakes and rotors were fine. All in all, the WORST experience I`ve ever had with any dealer ever.
Love my car but hate the lies that LA`s Dowtown Motors is all to good at telling.

Bad Service Technicians
I get my 2003 Audi serviced at Audi of downtown Los Angeles. Unfortunately, EVERYTIME I get work done at this location, which is NOT CHEAP (even a simple service), I have to return to them within a few days due to a new problem that arose during the time that they had my vehicle. I truely believe that they are creating new problems with my vehicle to get me to return for additional repairs. EVERYTIME I take my car... view more back to them with the new problem that they created, they claim that the new problem had nothing to do with the work that they did. This has occured on more than eight occasions. They know me by name at this dealer, because I`m there so much. I have spent over $2000 with them in less that two months, just to continue having problems.
I too should have learned from prior experiences with them...Their Service is BAD!!!!!

after the expensive ($330+) 60,000 mile service, i was told that all fluids and filters had been replaced. to my surprise, the oil warning light came on less than 2000 miles later. even more surprising, when the oil was drained it came out in CHUNKS. likely hadn`t been changed in something like 10000 or more miles. other fluids were low, filters were in bad shape. what`s worse, this was the third bad episode i`d... view more had with them, out of maybe 7 visits. should`ve learned my lesson sooner.
