I selected this shop to have my car serviced based on the many glowing reviews. I am sorry to say this, but I have been sorely disappointed. I agree with one of the other reviewers that had a negative experience . The shop might be ok for basic repairs or maintenance, but for more complex stuff, they might not be skilled at making the proper diagnosis for your specific car. My car was in this shop for an extended ... view moreperiod of time. Actually, the longest time in my life, and I have been driving since 1988. Seems like the shop only has one mechanic(Sean). It`s no wonder the repairs take a long time. While they are nice and friendly, they do not take responsibility for their actions and try to deflect the blame. Their inexperience will show for the more complex repairs. I took my car to another shop, and they were able to diagnose the problem with my car in one day. I have been driving for over 20 years, and have taken my cars to many shops. This was the worse auto repair experience in my life.

I thought these were good peop...

I thought these were good people but my car and wallet say different. After Family auto care supposedly fixed my car and gave it a major tune up it never made it to its first oil change before I had problem after problem. Family auto care warrantied my car for 12 months or 12k miles which they refuse to honor. The owner/mechanic promised to fix my car and make things wright but when I called 2 days later his wife/co... view more owner played dumb and acted like they didn`t know what I was talking about and said my car was fixed and is fine. I spent over $2,300 with this shop and my car sits in my garage with a check engine light on and oil all over the engine both problems they claimed to have fixed. This shop has wasted so much of my time, money and stressed me beyond belief.

Kids playing shop

This is a rookie shop trying to learn while passing the cost off to the consumer. From my experience because of the lack of part connections of a well established shop Family auto care tries to sale generic after market parts at more than the cost of genuine o.e.m. parts. Theirs usually only 1 mechanic/owner in his 20`s trying to over multitask leading to vehicles not given the proper attention and very long repair ... view moretimes. I had high hopes for this shop but it failed and it failed hard. Family auto care charged me much more than the dealer and promised to warranty my car 12 months or 12k miles and it never made it to either with out problems. My car now sits in my garage with check engine light on and oil all over the engine. Family auto care refuses to fix my car properly and honor my warranty and considers this fixed. Its been a awful experience and a huge waste of money.

The most genuinely nicest people

Sean and Nicole have to be one of the most genuinely nicest people I`ve met. They`re both very easy to get along with and will be completely straight with you. Cool thing about Sean, is that not only does he do a great job, but he gives you the time to talk about the issue at hand.
