Amazing work!!

I`ve had used cars all my life and they always need work. There used to be a time when I could do the work myself or my husband could. We now have a 2006 Ford Taurus and aside from adding oil that`s about all I can do on it. When we got the car from the dealership there were some problems. We were new to the Napa area and had no idea where to take it. My husband found Silver Auto Service and I`m so glad he did. ... view more Not only do they fix the problems that arise; they fix it so it doesn`t happen again. My other experiences with mechanics haven`t ever been as wonderful as with these guys. We refer everyone we can to them - and will keep doing that!

Do NOT go here!!!!

After I had my car serviced here, they had supposedly done all these things to it and said it would run like brand new. I had a really bad feeling about these guys from the beginning, but they insisted that they were the best deal I was going to find anywhere. I called around and what they quoted me on ended up being the best deal, so I decided to go with them. After my car was in their hands they kept adding things ... view morethat were wrong with my car, but told me it would be cheap to fix it. A service that they said was supposed to be around $250 ended up being well over $1000. Anyway, 2 months later I was on the freeway and my car started smoking. When I brought it to another trusted mechanic, he told me that these guys at Silver Auto had totally screwed me, and got away with it, they are so good at what they do, that it would be almost impossible to prove. They replaced a few things that didn&apos;t need to be replaced, they put generic fluids into my car and charged me for brand names, and the oil that they had put in my car was the wrong type of oil. Never go to this shop, they are liars, cheaters and just out to get your money, and know how to hide it very very well.
