Highly Recommended
I own a 2004 C-class and after it went out of warranty, I began experiencing brake problems. Beverly Hills Mercedes quoted me $3500 to fix the problem. I took the car to Westwood and Larry diagnosed the problem (not the same as Bev Hills, btw) and quoted me $1,300. Parts had to be ordered and it took a few days, but what a price difference! The brakes were still not working properly after I picked it up and Larr... view morey took the car back and did some additional needed work (another part he missed)...he was very forthcoming about his mistake. He had the car for another day and a half...I know he spent at least 4 hours installing the needed part...and he charged me nothing...not even for the cost of the additional part. He`s a super guy...thanks Larry....the car is running brilliantly now!!!!

ONE LAST HONEST MECHANIC STANDING
One of my non-Mercedes cars needed repair --turn signal, the door was jammed and the right front passenger window doesn`t work. It took Larry about a week to complete the job, but he did a great job! He even suggested that I buy the parts to save money.
LARRY is a winner and is definitely the LAST HONEST MECHANIC standing. More Power to you, Larry.

Good mechanic
I have been searching the West LA area for an honest mechanic, and Larry seems to fit the bill. He is pleasant to talk with, and knows a lot about Mercedes. I can tell, he has years of experience and treated me with the utmost respect. Being a woman, I have been taken advantage of by other mechanics by being charged way more than normal price. Larry gave me a good estimate and I highly recommend him.

A gem for Mercedes enthusiasts
Larry appears to have an encyclopedic knowledge of all things related to Mercedes cars and is a very pleasant chap. He obtained all of the parts and fixed everything on my 300E on the same day and charged very reasonable prices. Incidentally, there is an Enterprise car rental 2 mins walk away if you need a replacement car for the day, as i did. If you own a Mercedes i would be surprised if you could find a better ser... view morevice than this in LA.

Good Estimate and Service.
My Mercedes E320 was stalling and had engine issues. I found out that the coils needed to be replaced. This place was a great find! They not only knew what the problem was right way, but were very reasonable with the price for the repair. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Great service and price!
A friend of mine recommended Westwood Mercedes because the dealer was just way too expensive. The dealer quoted me an obscene amount of money to fix my engine, so I took my friend`s advice. I took my car to the manager named Larry. He is very nice and I am so greatful to have found him. He is not only honest, but he even took the time to explain the problem with my car. He is professional and I will definitely bring ... view moremy car back again.

Well done.
At first, I went to a guy in Santa Monica which turned out to be a big mistake! I found Westwood Mercedes on Citysearch, and they seemed reasonable, so I gave them a shot. My 450 SL was running very sluggish and made a strange sound on acceleration. It turned out that all I needed was a tune-up. They are very knowledgable and I paid less than I anticipated. Thanks guys.

Good Service.
I was referred to Larry by a friend of mine and thank God I found him. He is an honest mechanic who you can tell, has lots of experience with Mercedes. At first, I went to the dealer and was quoted a huge amount just for a head gasket replacement. After calling Larry, his estimate was a lot lower and he seemed very reasonable. I got the car back the next day, with no problem. He is professional and gets the job done!

I am going to refer this place to all of my friends
I went to Westwood Mercedes because, while there were not a lot of reviews on citysearch, the few that were posted on here were all very positive. This was a great find!!! It`s less than a mile from my home, but more importantly, I got great service at an incredible price. I had had my car serviced at the Mercedes dealership in Santa Monica, and they told me that I needed about $3000 of work in addition to my regu... view morelar servicing (which also cost a fortune), so I decided to shop around to see if I could get a better price. Larry quoted me $325 instead of the $550 that the dealership quoted. He also replaced my engine air filters and didn`t charge me for the labor, just the parts.
As a woman, I always worry that these auto shops are going to take advantage of the fact that I don`t really know much about cars. I didn`t have to worry about that here. From the moment you meet Larry (and checking out the website), you can tell he`s an honest, nice guy and that he`s being fair. He even told me that I could`ve probably waited longer before replacing the brake pads and rotors on my car (Mercedes dealership made it sound like there was a real safety issue and I needed to have it taken care of immediately).
It`s not the fanciest or most sophisticated repair shop I`ve ever seen, but who cares. They get the job done, they treat the customers well, and the prices can`t be beat. I would`ve actually paid a bit more for the peace of mind that I got from them. Anyone with a German car, not just Mercedes, should use them.

Good Mercedes mechanic.
I was referred to Larry by a friend of mine and I am very pleased with his service. The shifting on my SL500 was rough and I could tell something was broken. He fixed the transmission and it came out to be half as much as was quoted to me by some other place. Thanks Larry!
