The owner is a complete d*ck!!!! DO NOT GO HERE! Beware of the short man, Art, who is the owner of this hole-in-the-wall business. There were bubbles on my window and he told me to bring it in so he can ""fix"" it. He ended up taking off all of the tints without even telling me! while researching reviews before getting my car tinted, i kept finding this same review for "custom glass tinting" i noticed the dates have been modified several times,(at least twice a month)dating all the way back to 2008! despite this bad review i chose to ignore it and got my car tinted there anyway and just as i had suspected, everything this person had written seems to be a folks tale, the o... view morewner is not an a**hole, he seemed very profesional and respectful.when i asked about the warranty of the tint, he was honest and said,"lifetime warranty". now while doing my research i also found that most tint`s lifeline is approx. 5yrs. so if that person would have just done his/her homework, he/she would have already known that. there were so many samples of tint that i had a hard time choosing one, but they were very patient with me and helped me pick one out even though they were swamped and i hadn`t made an appointment. now as far as the parking goes, i too parked out front but didn`t get that kind of reaction...in fact after picking out the tint and handing over my keys the owner told me an estimated time to come pick up my car then noticing i hadn`t come prepared with another ride, so despite the fact they were busy, he still offered to give me a ride and actually brought my car to me when it was finished!!!!! they did a "WONDERFUL" job and im gonna recommend "CUSTOM GLASS TINTING" to everyone. Oh yeah and by the way, whoever this "nightwolf2300" person is that`s been writing these bad reviews since 2008...get some therapy and get over it, because to us reviewer, you sound like the a**hole!!

keep up the good work guys!

Some jerk decided to break into my car over the weekend which is what prompted the need for this service. In any event, I shopped around first, but after talking to Art(owner) of Custom Glass Tinting, I was convinced and scheduled my appointment immediately. My car was ready sooner than I expected and not only did they do a great job but they charged a very fair price. They even removed all the broken pie... view moreces of glass that should have been removed when i had my window replaced. I don`t know what else to say....excellent company profesional staff I recommend them. Otherwise, I wouldn`t take the time to write this.

Avaoid Custom Glass Tinting in Richmond

The guy who manages the place is an a**hole! I brought 2 cars there to have the windows tinted. One was 6 years ago. I remembered calling a day before to set up an appointment, I asked if they give lifetime warranty, the guy said yes. When I came in the next day, I told him that I was the one who called, he said that he does not take appointments seriously because alot of people does not show up. I asked about the wa... view morerranty again, he said that it is only for 5 years. For me 5 years is OK, but he lied to me on the phone when he said they do have lifetime. I still got my window tinted for that car and they did a good job. So, when I needed my second car tinted I still went there. I heard him talk to his employees b*tchin about how I parked infront of his shop, I didn`t know I was not supposed to, because there were no signs. When I looked at his window tint samples, I asked if he has anymore other than those, he accused me of not listening. When I was about to give him my key, he still kept b*tchin how complicated I was. I took my key and left. I was only there for five minutes and he called me complicated. It`s not worth going here because what if there was something wrong with their work, it would be difficult to talk to someone like him if I need to go back to have it fixed.
