First of all, I checked the online pricing at Napa Online and two wheel bearings were available. I needed to buy these parts at TO for my daughter to give parts to her dad for repair. First day I attempt purchase, the price is higher in store, and I ask what kind of brand is it? The nice guy says it is a Timken (I was asking for Timkens earlier). Next trip in I order the parts, I`m told they can`t get any Timk... view moreens, they just carry two kinds, the Napa labeled on the computer and the Altron. They only have one in stock. Then he finds a second. I ask what is the brand name, he says they`re Napa not to sure who makes it till he brings it out..Koyo. Then I open box and notice they`re different, one has a red tab in side the other black. He says it`s just the plastic thing that will be removed...does not matter. Then I inspect it removing it from the plastic bag and it looks very different, one has a dull sandy band on top of the bearing the other is smooth. One is the Napa one and the other possibly the Altron as shown on Napa online. Approx 30.00 difference but I don`t care because i want the best. He agrees they are different, one possibly tapered the other...He has to order the parts plus the seals needed. My total is far more than online and the prior quote given the day before. He warns me that women are often given the higher price (not news in auto repair). then proceeds to offer me a AAA discount. The one I want would cost 75.99 higher than Timken`s. I`m ok but tell my daughter that when she picks up the order to confirm all parts match and we get the tapered bearing. She goes in two days later they swap parts and he give her the lower end bearings with no credit to my account. She calls me and I tell her it`s not the parts we agreed to with the clerk behind the desk. He took advantage of you after he told us ""we are often taken advantage of."" IT gets WORST
