Wow, Jeff saved my trip from Seattle to Arizona! Can`t say enough great things about this garage. They all know their bugs and how to take care of a distraught traveler at 4:30 pm. Driving a 72 bug is always a challenge but they made my unintended visit to Sacramento a pleasure. They were reasonable and fast.

Best VW guys around

Been screwed over by the VW dealer, bugformance, and kombi haus. Finally took it to Chet an cliff`s and got a great deal, jeff was honest, explained the problem very throughly to me, and fixed it quickly, for the exact price he told me. Since then I`ve been taking my car to him for routine maintenance, and have been getting the same excellent service, and excellent price. Dependable, reliable service - priced right.

These guys have been maintaining and repairing my VW products fo the past 9 years. This is a family operated business that stands behind it`s service reputation. Dishonest Mechanics!

Save your time and save your money. I usually take my car to another mechanic but unfortunately he is located an hour away. My car had stalled on me while I was driving on the freeway and I was in need of a VW specialist, I didn`t want to go to the dealer so I had it towed to this place. That was probably one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made. It turns out its one of those shops where they make you believe its... view more worse than it really is because they`re money hungry. They gave me an estimate for $3000 which I could not afford and politey told them that I had decided not to repair my car and would be having it towed elsewhere. The owner of the shop kept asking me what I was going to do with it, almost insisting on selling it to him for $400 (keep in mind that its 2003 New Beetle with a turbo engine) ridiculous and unprofessional right? When I had spoken to him on the phone a few days prior to this, he had told me that it would be $300 for the labor they had done...which was nothing because the damn car never got repaired. When I got there it was a different story and he was charging me $425 for four hours of labor when they did nothing to the car. I called a few mechanics after I left the shop and was told that it deffinately did not take them four hours to look at my car. The owner lies about how many hours of labor they actually did to rip off thier customers! Also they didn`t even have the decency to put the parts back as they were when I first took my car to thier shop which by law they are required to. I never write reviews but I would never want someone else to go thru what I did with this horrible place. Long story short take your car somewhere else, the owner is a money hungry, unprofessional, dishonest person!

Lieing stealing scumbags.

It is ridiculous for this auto body to have a good review, it was probably the owner who did it himself. Its true what the other reviews say they are money hungry and don`t want to honestyly help you out. Look elsewhere for good and honest service because it is not here. What Happened to Good Service?

He overcharges and tends to cut corners wherever he can. I`ve been a customer for over 20 years and several times he charged me more than the orignal quote. Recently he tried to charge me an exorbitent amount for something that takes 5 min to complete, telling me it takes an hour. I know dam well how long it takes because I did the repair myself. Best darn VW Repair Shop in Sacramento!!

My expiriance with this shop has been first rate. I had called all the other shops in town before calling this one. Right from the start they made me feel welcome and tried to figure out the problem with my car. This was a good start as I felt they really wanted to take car of me and my problem.
