Editorial review from Citysearch
If I could give this place a negative number of stars for a rating, I most definitely would. Major problems with the manager on duty and the technician -- see detailed description below.

Went here for a reg. Smog Check. (Pennysaver coupon $17.99 + $8.25 for cert. -- wooden sign out front on ground says reg. price is either $19.95 or $19.99)
Frank, the technician, could not even type in my correct first ... view morename into their computer system. He asked me for my DMV paperwork instead of just asking me for my name, address, etc. He did not ask me to verify the data he had input into their PC. When I got home and noticed my name was wrong on my invoice, I called & spoke with the manager, Joseph and brought this to his attention. He was not at all concerned about this and said that Frank had input the name that was on my DMV paperwork. I tried to explain that my first & middle name along with my last name was on my paperwork and that Frank had overlooked my first name. Joseph didn`t care at all.

While at the front counter with Frank, I could tell by the smell coming off his uniform, that he smokes. The smell coming off his uniform gagged me and made me cough.

When Frank first started the smog check on my car, he said to me, in what I personally believe, was a snide tone of voice, ""You don`t trust technicians, do you ma`am?"" and then laughed. I told him that doing so was disrespectful. Frank was also more concerned about putting a fortune cookie in a grocery bag & then putting the grocery bag along with a good size mag light in this space on the cart where the smog computer was than, getting my smog test started. Later he brought over a cart of tools and was more concerned about putting a wrench back in with other wrenches than continuing my smog test and inspection.

The manager, Joseph, after lighting up a cigarette while inside the bay, near my car and only about 8 feet directly in front of me, took his left hand and placed it on the crotch area of his ""uniform"". He then moved his fingers in such a way as it appeared to me, to be him feeling his ""man parts"", possibly lightly scratching them or somehow adjusting their position. There were, what I perceived, to be 4 different motions he did on himself. I personally took this as being professionally inappropriate and as a form of sexual harrassment. I brought his actions to his attention right before leaving and he flat out denied it.

Joseph and Frank were also more concerned about talking about this war type movie that involved white pilots having to fly with, what I`m guessing were other pilots of another race, than they were about allowing Frank to get my smog check & test done.

Joseph, while still smoking his cigarette, went and sat on the front edge of the vehicle that was right next to mine. He blew his cigarette smoke down toward that car`s front quarter panel and engine hood. Another technician had just a short time before gotten done washing and drying it off.

While doing the visual inspection, after he took it off the computer, I asked Frank the technician why he could not move my car to right outside of the bay area so that I could see what he was doing, he just ignored me. I also tried to ask the same thing of the manager, Joseph, and he just went off on me and ignored my question.

Both Frank and Joseph, had what I consider to be, a major problem with telling, explaining to and showing their customers, especially their female customers, what they are doing to their vehicles. They made me feel like they thought I would not understand even though I had told Frank that I had done body work, electrical work, and tune up work on my car.

The manager, Joseph, was in my personal opinion, extremely rude, arrogant and condescending, as well as totally unprofessional in the way that he talked to me, his attitude, his tone of voice, and choice of actions.
