EXPENSIVE!
Chuck, his wife, and his staff are very friendly and knowledgable about all cars, especially oldies. The problem is, he`s super expensive. So BE CAREFUL! You`ll talk to Chuck and totally trust him, as I did, and he`ll take care of all the things you need done on your car. But the bill will be more than what you expect. I took my 60s car in for a brake adjustment and oil change, and paid 8x more than what I paid ... view moreat my now new mechanic, Crown Auto in West LA. So beware, the service (both auto and customer) were good at Chuck`s, but be prepared to pay a premium for it.

Best mechanic in town
I`ve been taking cars to Chuck for a long time now, from a 68 Chrysler to a 2001 Mazda SUV. He`s the most trustworthy mechanic around. Several times I`ve taken my car in there to get work done, and where a lot of mechanics would have ""found"" something wrong with it, Chuck give his honest opinion with what needs and doesn`t need to be done.
And don`t be intimidated by all the classic cars out front. He`ll wor... view morek on new cars just as much as old cars. The great thing is, if he can`t get it fixed there, he`ll send you to someone that you can trust because Chuck recommends them.
He can get very busy, so make sure you call before bringing your car in there.
