This guy is a ripoff

My car was not exellerating properly, so I took it into Al`s to have him check it out. Since the "check engine" light was on he conected the device and it said that cylinder 4 was not operating properly, so I left it with Al. He got back to me and told me I was loosing compression. He said he could either do a tune up and other mantinance to try and correct the compression or I could rebuild the engine head. I told h... view moreim to try the tune up and other maintenance. He called me back and said it worked. The compression was fine and it is working, but he was not sure how long it would last. 2 days later I was back at the shop....at that time he said I should get the engine head rebuilt. I told him I would think about it. Since then I took it to another shop for a second oppinion and he said that my compression was fine and that all it needed was a tuneup. I told him I just had one done only months ago. He did the tuneup and told me that the parts he took out were at least 2 yrs old. So for not replacing any parts for the tune up and misdiagnosing the problem, or just lying to make more money, Al`s is a ripoff. He charged me $600.00 for really doing nothing, and if I had taken it back he would have charged me another $1000.00 for fixing a problem that was not there. Don`t say I did not warn you.
